PTI leader Umar Ayub expressed strong criticism toward Mohsin Naqvi, accusing him of giving direct orders that led to the arrest of PTI leaders in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Speaking to the media in Peshawar, Ayub alleged that Naqvi came to the region only when it suited his needs, and he condemned Naqvi's actions that resulted in the detainment of their leadership.
Ayub emphasized that while Ali Amin Gandapur, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, might pardon certain individuals, Mohsin Naqvi would not be forgiven by the PTI leadership. He demanded an apology from Naqvi to the families affected by these arrests, accusing him of operating through the Chief Secretary and the Inspector General (IG) of the police. According to Ayub, the powers of the IG have been stripped as a result of these actions.
