Great photos, but some of the wording is inaccurate or awkward. Lauren Bacall moved to The Dakota in the early 1960s, not the late 1960s. Besides not being a resident of The Dakota "formally," Humphrey Bogart was never a resident informally, either. The price was never reduced to "23 dollars 50 cents"! The guest bedroom is not painted, but has wallpaper or some such covering.

@@user-gp7et4dg2s I don’t doubt that. Lauren was classy, elegant. John was talented, yes, but many clouds over him. Troubled since he was young. Didn’t respect women.
She bought her apt in the late 1950s (not 1960s), Of course Bogie was never "formally" a resident since he died before she moved in, @ 3:21 the property was NOT reduced to $23 dollars and 50 cents. If it was, I would have bought it! @ 3:51 that is the southwest side of the building overlooking West 72nd Street. Her apt overlooked Central Park on the East side of the building. @ 3:55 that is NOT the kitchen of her apt. Among other things, that is a second floor apt (see the round-headed window overlooking the courtyard), @ 4:15 the apt does not include a "gallery". @ 4:35. That is wallpaper - not paint. I had to stop watching.
Wow ! It's TRUE some of these clips are BOGUS. They screw up photos of Jackie O's apartment with Lee Radizwell's apartment!! Constantly!!
