A tremendous thank you to the crew for letting me film and a special thank you to the driver for making this happen. To even think that this old 1990 WhiteGMC Leach is still hanging on is quite amazing. This truck originally started with a small company called coastside scavengers in Pacifica. Tracy ended up purchasing this truck from them and it has been here ever since. This was used for their residential collection until they purchased many newer Macks and this was then strictly used as their leaf truck. It served as a frontline leaf truck until they began using one of their macks for leafs. This truck has since sat in the back of the yard somehow avaoiding the scrap yard. They had many trucks like it get scrapped but this one has stuck around. It is used as a spare to the mack but it is rarely used. The truck virtually sits year round and is probably fired up once or twice a year. The driver of the truck was kind enough to pull this truck out so I could see it in action. I cannot thank him enough for that as it was a real treat to see this. For being over 30 years old it looks spectacular. It serves its job well and is still a reliable spare. The highly entertaining collection method Tracy has just makes it that much better for me. I huge thanks to the whole crew! I hope you guys enjoy it!

That’s awesome, seems like it might be cheaper and faster to invest in a tink claw rather than pay workers but It’s awesome to see

Interesting enough they used to use a tink claw. City nor the company liked it as with this method they can get in between cars and do way more on route.
