- This video is about two-factor analysis of variance without repeated measures (2-Way-ANOVA). We discuss what you need two-factorial analysis of variance for and what the difference is between one-factor and two-factor.
Then we'll go over the hypotheses and the assumption. After that, I'll show you how to calculate the two-factor analysis of variance online with DATAtab, how to interpret the results, and we will discuss what the interaction effects are. Finally, we'll go over the formulas so you can better understand what happens in two-factor analysis of variance.

Excellent presentation as usual. Thank you, Hanna so much. I wish if you can make more videos about ANCOVA and MANCOVA. I believe you will explain them in a perfect way.
Many thanks! Yes I can put it on our to do list! But it may take a while! Regards, Hannah
Excellent presentation, much appreciated!👍
Glad it was helpful!
That's great! I learned many things from this video. Thanks you very much.
Glad to hear that!
how do you test if the two-factor analysis of variance without repeated measures is not normally distributed?
Well Explained!
Thank you Hanna for another clear video
Glad it was helpful! : ) Regards Hannah
Hi, is it possible to do 2x2 Anova between-subjects with a survey design? Thank you
I love DATAtab and Hannah´s extremely pedagogical approach. Are you also considering doing a video on Mixed factor ANOVA? Please :-)
Hi Per, many thanks!!! We just did one, but it's not quite as detailed as the normal 2 factorial, here is the Link: ua-cam.com/video/CE4dhRLCVMI/v-deo.html Regards Hannah & Mathias
@@datatab Ok and I will have a look. By the way! Do you share the data sets you use in the video so one can practice along with you?
@@perpalmgren2820 We are in the process of building that right now. We would like to add a button to each tutorial, "load example data". With the data you can then most likely also work for free!
Hey. My data is for two way anova. but while calculating from datatab it is saying that atleast one factor has too less data? what could be the issue? i have a sample of a 135 with sorted categories
You are Great scientst! Thanks a lot
So nice of you!
Hi anna, i have a problem with the analusis. i select 2 metrics variable with one categorical and the app calculate a two factors anova with repeated measure. the is no levene p value. Is it normal ? thanks
Hi, for the 2 was anova with repeated measures I have only heard the Mauchly's Test of Sphericity. I don't know if you calulate the levene Test there. Do you mean the Mauchly's Test of Sphericity? I will try to implement it! Many thanks for your Feedback! Regards, Hannah
@@datatab is it possible to send you everything by email ? Thanks for the qui k answer ! And thank you for your amazing tool 😍😍
5:31 Anova very well explained but there is mistake in slide. there are no significant difference b/w the groups of second ( not first , you wrote first 2X times ) factor.
Thanks you explain this better than my lecturer 😂
Happy to help and thanks for the nice feedback : )
There is one mistake at around the 16th minute. The graf shows that men have a higher value for those who have studied, and females for those who haven't studied.
👍👍👍
Can you please make a mixed anova
Pre-test and post-test
Put it on our to do list : )
