If you only want to replace the bulbs, I've found you can just pull the bulb out. You don't need to remove the whole thing. For the middle light just remove the glass, for the 2 smaller lights you can pull out the black plastic bits for better access.

Hello great video! This is the only way to remove the front lighting, the rear is just plugged in, nothing special but the front only works if you remove the sun visors. Hence a praise to you!

I really appreciate your videos for the bmw 328i. I have used many of your ideas and techniques. However, your video on the passenger side door latch replacement, I have yet to build up enough courage to unclip the window from the regulator! Very scary! Mine is quite stubborn! Afraid of breaking the glass. I have replacement clips but still, not as easy as you make it.

I have a plan, I have already modified my rear view mirror assembly. I added a usb power port inside the cover so my dash cam cable is very short and not draping down to the cigarette lighter.
So , because that one is not hot all the time and the dome lights are, I will add one to the dome/map light assembly so the camera is on all the time. The other will be for my cell phone holder/charger. It can be on only when the car is on!
After removing the assembly you only need to twist the bulb holders 1/4 turn and they are then much earsier to take out and replace

Having tried the "shortcut" I would recommend dropping the head liner a bit. I took the shortcut and bent one of the clips.

Thank you for your video it was a massive help but it was a very awkward fucking thing to get out took me a lot longer on UA-cam, was actually really convenient because I was able to put all my wires from my dashcam into the roof

My roof liner got placed. Now none of my lights including, the sun visor lights and the middle back dome doesn't work. The only one that turns on is the dome in the middle front. What can be the issue? Everything looks connected.

need tourqe screwdrivers might have to invest i have very anoying rattle what goes away if i i hold the clear plastic light in middle...another annoying rattle under my i drive center trim between i drive and middle airvents ..driving me insane
