Thank you, really appreciated the channel today. I don’t know what I would do without the weekly videos of such high quality! Love that mulch stuff, I would imagine that western area bit with it having rubbery type mulch like they have in play parks so people can’t fill the trough with bark! Have a great week
You can also almost smell the wood chippings too... and they can be coloured and dyed, so yeah!! That's a thing!! Trouble is, this then makes it feel cheaper than it really would be... :)
First 😎 I can’t wait to see the log flume! Especially I suck at building them so I want to see how you do it 😅 but keep up the good work because so far this park is amazing!
@@Nerdchacho I get up early during the week for work. If I slept in on the weekend it would ruin my routine. Just glad there is some great planco content to watch on Sundays with my tea.
This series is great I would love to see an advert made for the park when its finished I've made a few of them before as video editing is a little hobby but they turn out great and sre quite entertaining if done well!!
Your detail is always amazing. I think I have been cautious with making river rapids or log flume rides because I know how much detail it takes to make it look good. You used to/or currently still work with theme parks right? What type of work did/do you do because you are so knowledgeable about everything from the technical side of the ride to how parks approach certain rides
Log flumes are way easier than rapids because you don't have to do the channels or excessive pumps etc.. But log flumes seem to be harder to master the "feel"...
19:52 you should build a coaster that dives down into a hole in the middle of the two cactus (adds a extra bit of thrill for the log flume and makes more people want ti ride the other ride)
haha... interesting facts and inner workings are a little hard to come by with log flumes. I couldn't really find out much because most flumes in the UK are being decommissioned and they're fairly primitive rides... Anything I did find out wasn't "interesting" :D
i have a quick question. what are your plans for the larger coasters and attractions for the park? things like hyper/gigacoasters that would be chacholandia’s one-three really big eye catching attractions. or maybe some sort of bigger side attraction like the aquarium you mentioned earlier. i’ve asked about the coasters before because i LOVE when people make massive attractions in massive parks and things like the millennium force and top thrill dragster at cedar point have always fascinated me. so i’d like to see what the best planco youtuber was cooking up, y’know?
Well.. As it is a UK park, we don't typically do "big" we do "clever" because otherwise neighbours start to whinge and they tend to win. So, I'm not even sure if there will be any US-style eye-popping attractions for this park. I've scrapped a few plans already.. I've shelved the aquarium temporarily, until I has a place to go as the CGI went where the woodie was going to.
@@Nerdchacho ahhh gotcha. i’m not from the UK so i’m not sure how that stuff works there, i just assumed all parks tried to have really large-scaled attractions lol. i still think the aquarium would be super cool though.
@@rednebula7612 We have some very interesting people living here in the UK.. We call them NIMBYs (Not In My Back Yard) who will literally complain about everything.. And they even have the right to move next to an existing theme park then complain about the noise it generates etc... and they win... So, as a result any UK attraction is usually a trade-off between these neighbours and entertainment.. There are some exceptions but there is a reason that Stealth and Pepsi Max Big One are our tallest coasters..
@@Nerdchacho that sucks. wow, some people lol. but yeah, only reason i’m so curious is because, like i said, super huge rides have ALWAYS fascinated me as the most interesting part of theme park/amusement park development. so i wanted to see (since you’re making a cedar fair park) what your take on a very large ride would be. that being said, i still love the way the project has come out so far. i actually have been watching a lot of the videos all the way through recently. i find you very funny and your expertise very interesting. and i’m really happy to see how much the channel is grown since the first comment i left a few months ago.
Keep at it and you will do eventually. It is a slippery slope where each park gets more and more detailed as you become comfortable. Even on console...
Watch out for the splash... and the spoilers.... :D
Why are your builds always so gosh darn pretty!? Stunning log flume!
Hello Moomin!!
I literally don't know, because ironically, I'm awful at art.. so.. I don't know where my eye comes from!

I've missed the premier😥😥great video as always though I'm editing a video for my new park now! Great to watch this while editing!
Don't worry, you still made it, that's the main thing :)

No pressure to make this one good then? :D
Love it 😍
I need to stop missing the premiers, also great episode like always you never disappoint
We missed your face!! :D
I don’t like how the log flumes are now getting demolished in the UK as they are one of my favourite rides.
A week is too long to wait for each episode!
I wish I had time to do more.. a week between them isn't long enough sometimes!
great stuff as per usual NC.
Thanks for getting up so early to join us! :D

I was thinking the same when I was sat at the entrance watching the stock video I've used.. I'll probably do one, at least for the entrance

Good idea, but you can't because of the flooding risk...
Camt wait to learn about all the physics of log flume lol

i woke up at 11 so i couldn’t be there at the premiere
Thanks for being so dedicated!! I woke up at 10:55 to host it... lol :D
6:56 The noise of the giant hammers can be heard from the more calm sides of the log flume’s track, isn’t it?
Much like Rush at Thorpe Park can be heard from pretty much anywhere in Staines 🙈🤣
I can only dream of working at your detail level in planet coaster
