Think about this logically. Swoopes came into the League when it was Brand New. The level of talent was WAY below where it is now. Sure she was a top player and heavily awarded. But, she didn't have anyways near the competition. Don't discount this. She was a very talented player, but it was considerably easier to be at the top of the heap.

Do your research! Clark was in college during the COVID year, but she only played 4 years. Clark did not take an extra COVID year, even though she could have. They didn't play a full schedule her first (Covid) year and she still broke all the records.

For decades these women had the league to themselves. They were the queens and it was all subsidized by the NBA. Suddenly their private playground has been upset by a woman that isn't like them in many ways. CC is getting loads of attention. CC is getting loads of money. CC is breaking their old records. CC is a fan favorite. CC doesn't seem to even notice when they try to rough her up on the court. Everything CC does threatens these old queens and they are throwing childish tantrums. Sad that they are not grown up enough to accept the future of their own game.
