Professor John Hatcher’s book The Face of God Among Us (2010) is a highly structured analysis of the Manifestations of God, based entirely on passages from the authoritative Bahá’í texts. Divided in four major parts, this work attempts to assay the purpose, the nature, the powers, and the methodology of these Divine Emissaries. This talk, given as part of the Wilmette Institute's 20th Anniversary web talk series, focuses on the Manifestation (or messenger) of God, their nature and powers, to what extent their revelation has a human component, and what their experience as revelators is.

This book is very dear to me beyond the fact that it makes it easy to find our connection to God through understanding the revelation of Baha'u'llah.
My darling husband the last years of his life when he had developed Parkenson and was at home in Montreal connected to our grand children who were at the time living in west coast of US and Canada by asking them to read to him on the tel. From the books they would chose together once a week. Justin and Lua chose this book in 2011-12. Noah who was younger had a book on stories from Abdul-Baha.
Ron would bye 3 copies of the same book this one. One fore each of them and one for himself. He would mark where they stopped reading for the week and put a date and Justin and Lua's name next to it to remind himself where they had stopped the previous time and could start the next week.They would have some discussion after the reading.
It gave my darling so much pleasure to connect with our grandchildren through the writing of the Faith.
The love of my life passed away 1st of Oct. 2015. This book amongst others he read still sits on the side table.
Thank you...i enjoyed it very much, a bit over my comprehension, but understood fairly...maybe will comprehend fully with the help of Hasrate Baha'u'llah down the road when i listen to it again in future...again THANK YOU...
