@@zzz280 harpy’s on the ground will still spawn but the ones that spawn high up I the air on both the left and right are the ones you leave one alive of each.

Me and a teammate did the cheese. Then it wiped us after awhile Bc that’s how it works. Damage totaled a little over 9 mil. Right around 9.2
@@portergum6014 i don't know what kinda overkill you hit him with to damage him past his max health but wow, other than that his max health is below 8.9M so unless you hit him for over his max health you couldn't have gotten 9M

They'll probably be nerfing that soon in the last twab they said they want to bring weapons back into the spotlight and just have your abilities complement the gunplay rather than outclass it

@@Retrophoenix- They specifically stated they were targeting those kind of changes for PVP, and want PVP to be focused on Gunplay, not PVE. In PVE they want us to use abilities and feel powerful.

@@CalebyremaC it’s good but you basically need either firefly or explosive payload for it to do well against trash mobs and it’s not very good against majors

Pretty sure the deathbringer shots disappearing is a visual glitch and they’re still doing damage
It’s funny because they’re babyraging about them disappearing but you can see the “missing” clusters falling when you let go of the detonation

You still lose damage. You can test it by doing direct hits instead which do higher damage, and its more consistent between fireteam menbers

Leviathan's breath needs a buff
I actually really like that bow, I'd love to use it more.
It's just not a necessary weapon. Dont need it for unstoppable, dont need it for damage and the stagger that it does should be massively increased like when it fits the floor, it should stagger everything including a boss momentarily. The stagger needs to matter alot more.

If it was purely anti every champion id consider using it just to use the weapons i want to without having to worry about champion mods
Not just normal buff, but an interesting and unique buff that makes it viable. Not the generic this weapon now does a lot of DPS type buff. Like I’m talking about given it a unique ability to use over other weapons. I feel like most people only look at damage potential for exotics in PvE.

@@havokreaper3014 incorrect, it does more total damage, but it actually does less damage per second than Thundercrash, which is the highest damage per second.

You could abuse the infinite grande charges with the raid buff. Anarchy, salvo with vorpal, demo and a boss spec. It’s not as stupid as double slugs, but its a comfortable loadout for newer players

Stuck on a lasting impressions rocket and you can easily 2 phase with that setup and a couple x2 slug anarchy

The boss isn't even hard it just has a lot of health that's it the mechanics are stupid easy
I managed to clock 3 mil dmg in 2 phases using thunder crash and death-bringer while someone else was proccing breach with anarchy. Shoot deathbringer, throw nade, thundercrash, reload, deathbringer, nade, nade, thundercrash. Rinse repeat.
3 million in 2 phases is bad tho

Okay sweat new mission kill atheon with 6 divinity’s
5 thundercrash and 1 well of radiance works actually. You tag him with anarchy to debuff with breach and clear then thundercrash immediately and just start spamming pulse grenades. Light abilities do tons and pulse grenades stack. You can get in 1 more thunder crash by the end. Well of radiance just keeps spamming fusion nades and anarchy.
And Deathbringer is just bugged where too many orbs go invis but they’re still there and do damage

Get a succession with extended mag, reconstruction and vorpal weapon. You'll be laughing compared to that adored.

I guess when he's moving whisper bad to some. Cause I know with GoS raid, I consistently was highest dps with whisper while everyone else used nighthawk golden gun, and xenophage or izanagi. People don't understand, unless you are titan xenophage is decent. Warlocks don't have any auto regen ammo and hunters have to waste a sec or 2 to roll for it. And since atheon is only medium range unlike aksis and tankis, I'm going to try whisper out when I do it.
For anyone who may see this. From what I’ve seen the best thing for damage is anarchy with breach and clear, and null composure with high impact reserves as each bolt hits around 5000 damage. And of course supers like cuirass thundercrash and Goldie
Threaded needle does more damage to bosses than sleeper

Use top tree striker and spam pulse nades. It's funny watching him walk around back and forth between them all

Deathbringer orbs will be detonated by an allies orbs hitting the target and end up dealing no damage. At max 2 DB on a single target at once, any more and it stops working

Top tree nova, energy converter, charge nades, and deathbringer is better

Contraverse hold vortex grenades do 1% health per grenade. Tested it on the solo bug. So anarchy, succession, vortex nades and nova would be insane.

@@filthyscorpion When damage phase begins for Atheon, you get a buff that rapidly refills super and essentially gives you infinite ability energy, letting you spam grenades on any class.
Honestly, Deathbringer w/ cat and a double C.Hawk was able to net me 1.22M damage for one phase. Try going for half-health in one phase instead of melting Atheon in one single phase.
All my team saw was a golden titan holding a 4th horsemen, walk up with no fear
thundercrash is actually really good just use breach and clear anarchy instead of tractor cannon for the debuff

I think fusion grenade spam+ demo rocket would be pretty top tier. I am glad we can’t just meme on this guy.
I've found 3 shots of xeno with a fusion nade in between is pretty good dmg

I was using Anarchy + Salvo and Nova/Thunder Crash/Celestial.
You dont really need salvo cuz anarchy debuffs alone and salvo doesnt compare in damage to a sniper. Tho the problem with atheon is that divinity really helps you maximize your damage cuz he moves so much and you're not gunna hit his crit everytime. So that's why I would love to have a div for atheon everytime.
Sleeper was doing decent and that's without it's full buff so throw in some snipes, nighthawks, Thundercrashes, and chaos reaches and it might be pretty viable
You should try cloud strike it's pretty good when breach and clear is active
You should do in or try to do every exotic vs atheon like what you did with calus

I think the thundercrash and chaos reach are good for dps but they need like anarchy or some other good form of dps to make them a good pick because they don’t do shit ok there own in this raid especially against that boss

If you do gatekeeper and the person who was is Venus last kills them self after the encounter is done they will spawn in Venus and atheon will be there and you can kill him then and there and if you don’t kill him, the damage will carry over
Sweat use sticky nades, if you can anarchy twice then just throw them you can get around 1mil per phase
we found it was easiest to just spam supers and when in the downtime just spam xeno but have 1 person with breach and clear anarchy
you could possibly use that heavy exotic bow to push him off

kinda bummed they used all supers except for goldie with star-eaters. you can get infinite super returns by using energy converter in the boss room btw. i was also hoping to see star-eaters with top tree tether and horseman on max damage buff. gonna wait for ehroar to pop up, i guess.

2 bubbles/wells and 4 yeet titans. The yeet titans get 2 supers off from the other guys orbs :D. 8 thunder crashes and the 2 support bois can run death bringer and the super guys can stick anarchy the whole time.
