Must have been some bad turbulence on that flight, that’s so frustrating. Big shout out to Daz though it looks fantastic and a rather nice repair idea in the end. Great work Shane 👌👏
@@shotgundaveslotcars thanks Dave. You ain’t seen nothing yet. Several things coming up in the weeks ahead that will make the ‘chute’ look like a mere warm up. And one thing in particular that you will absolutely freaking LOVE!!! I can’t wait to unveil it. 😎👍🏁
No worries. Good as new. Having to put it back together just makes it fit all the better with the post apocalyptic scenery. Amazing as always. I love being a grown kid watching a different version of Saturday morning cartoons lol.
At the moment the first layout you had in the garage is my favorite. I have a feeling you’re going to change my mind with this new one. Buy the way I’ve had the axel-box for a couple of months now,and love it. Saved me a lot of money from buying digital chips. 👍🍻
@@fredogzw as all the new scenery is added week by week, the difference between the two layouts will be like night and day. Some incredible, eye opening features are currently coming together, from a variety of talented people, and it’s truly going to knock it out of the ballpark. You ain’t seen nothing yet. 🤯👍🏁
Looks fantastic and adds some more off track movement. Very nice. Real shame about the transit damage but that's out of Daz and your control. I can understand your suggestion for improvements too. Your fix is perfect and gets the job done whilst still looking good. All around, another cracking vid and lovely product. Well done mate.
Turned out just peachy. Nice repair with the improvement made on the tri sign. Liking all the elevations. Opens up the track for some nice visualizations. Thanks for sharing.
Another good one! Love the way the frame work makes a turn and goes over the ground level track, looks cool. Your probably aware as i'm late to this video but i think Daz has modified his design to lighten the top bit - realized you don't need the whole board metal just a piece in each corner holds the sign up enough.
@@Doug-MagneticRacing_ThinkScalo thanks Doug. That’s an interesting fix, yes that would be much lighter. Be sure to see the next episode for some intense ‘hot laps’ car on track action. 😎👍🏁
Good to see you've gone analogue! Turning car's is a bit hit and miss, something that works someone may not work for others different type tracks wood, plastic and commercial take in whatever seems to help you and the track type you have and you will slowly but surely work out what's what ! With those Scalextric Sports fences you have to put some sort of stickers over the joins other wise the fences will rip bumper of and even complete rear valances off so you need to get something over the joins! Cheers, rastas. John McDonald.
Great vid again Shane shame about the damage on the sign but a great fix just a bit pricey for us buggers here in oz with the exchange rate but awesome sign though
@@pats-slots yeah Pat, nice to have. Adds a cool vibe to the layout. It’s actually going up in the high back right corner. Should look great when that’s all done.
It sucks when things are damaged in shipment, especially when they took such care in the packaging. You did a good job fixing it though. 👍🏼 22:26 If you put a sacrificial piece of material under what you’re drilling, you’ll have much less tear out. If you clamp them together before drilling, tear out is almost completely eliminated. It doesn’t matter in this application, just food for thought.
