Good video. Also the Google glass apparatus thing actually did happen in a podcast I listen to, it was episode 5 of Midnight Burger, a podcast I like. Though it was a chip inserted into the neck versus having a VR set with ads you can remove but you know same concept: technology attached to human bodies filled with awful ads.

Yeah, ads suck hard. Hate that these big companies are finding more ways to get them to show it to us, as if the people who are blocking them in the first place are desperately waiting to buy Product™. I get the feedback loop of getting paid creates a living but the adblocker isn't getting turned off until my eyes and ears will stopped being seared and punctured everytime I get curious about something.
What a nice touch that I keep getting interrupted by ads every 2 minutes cause I wanted to defy your want for us to turn it on
The worst ads in my opinion are those fake download buttons and fake Mr beast “everyone who visits this page wins $1,000” ads. They’re so obvious but I wouldn’t be surprised if they work on people like the elderly and little kids respectively.

if you disable java on your web browser you can read the text of the article without the popup that makes you turn adblock off or pay coming up. the only issue with this method is I forget to re-enable it and then get pissed off when youtube suddenly isn't working. also get sponsor block
You can get rid of even more ads if you set up a pi-hole and wireguard on your network, that way you can block ads on your phone wherever you are by just tunneling to your home network which blocks ads.

These mobile game companies typically outsource their full development process and slap together something quickly so wouldn't surprise me if they outsource their advertisements too, the company making the ad probably doesn't know or care about the game they just want as many clicks as possible to make their money, so they make ads like these.
Also chrome is going to make adblockers much less effective when they do their manifest v3 update, so you better get ready to switch to firefox or a chromium browser like brave which has inbuilt adblock.
