    Great Job as always,
But this time i'm bothered by something that i can't help but notice as en experimented percussionist : On the first section (The 7/4 theme) you wrote a quick descent in the lower range of the Timpani that's technically (nearly) impossible to do at this speed and might not sound very good. It's mainly due to the fact that you'd have to play at least 3 of the 4 different notes on the same (lowest) timpani. You'll have the slide effect of the note changing and the pitch might be off. It's not something you want to have to deal with as a percussionist...

Unfortunately I have to agree with you as professional timpanist. It can be done, but I don't think it would sound as good as we would like to if you would have to use I think three timpani just for this bar putting C on the right center and putting Aflat on left Center and F on the far left. (if we are talking of course playing it only with four timpani of normal range). You would have to do slides with both feet and tune those two timpanis back again during playing the C again. I think it can be done and I think a lot can hide with cellos and basses, but I think thanks to that also you can make some adjustments yourself (not play some notes, not the best I know, but I don't think it would make such a big difference). For this it would probably be the best to have 5 lower timpanis to make it exactly like that which I I think is much harder then actually play it like it's written :D But that's just my opinion :) I didn't check the timpani part in whole song, just this bar.
