Hello. Thank you for the quick reply. I'm abit confused. Are you saying the majority of Tampa wasn't affected in a major way? I've been following many of the local news outlets in Tampa and they seem to show different.
@Travelinlad yes thats exactly what i mean. I definitely don’t want to downplay it as many of the areas around the coast had it pretty bad and yes, we lost power for a few days, but majority of Tampa that’s inland only experienced wind and cleaning up debris. My point is majority of hurricanes that we would experience in Tampa. The worst will be on the coast so if that is a concern for you then live more inland

Hello. I'm thinking about moving to Tampa because of a job offer. What are your thoughts about moving to Tampa post the hurricanes?
Most locals know the risk if a hurricane but even with the most recent hurricanes, most were not affected in a major way.

I appreciate the information. What inland areas of Tampa can you recommend that's within a 30 minute or less commute from downtown Tampa?

@@godosanchez1 every major city has a homeless population but nowhere near San Diego if that helps
Be careful where you live, especially south tampa. Those places get flooded out so easily.
