I thought if it was really from God it wouldn't change...the most problematic point was the change in the order of events in Rev 7. During my time in SCJ, I worked a lot for the church and did a lot of missionary work. There was hardly any time to learn the doctrine in depth. And the educations that SCJ gave were always quite superficial and vague. But at some point I noticed contradictions and I read the MHL books and the JSS articles more closely and the contradictions became bigger and bigger. I asked the SCJ instructors in my congregation for years to help me understand, but they never even seriously tried to answer my questions... Then I found the Shincheonji subreddit and testimonies from exmembers on UA-cam and I was so amazed that others had had similar experiences and had also discovered the contradictions. With the help of a very kind and patient exmember who listened to me, taught me about critical thinking, answered all my questions (he had been an SCJ instructor before he left), I recognized the psychological tactics SCJ was using. After this I had a conversation with the church leader because I wanted to give SCJ a chance to explain the contradictions, but my questions were not answered. Instead, I experienced gaslighting and was called stupid. After this conversation, I left SCJ with a calm heart because SCJ was not able to answer the questions about all the contradictions and doctrine changes. Although I have had many bad experiences in SCJ in terms of how people treat each other and how the higher-ups treat the members, I left SCJ not because of that (although that is also an indication that something is not going well there) but because the teaching is inconsistent.
Wow, I was in your class. My husband and I, Matthew remember you Tyler in the class. We also came at the crossroads when we they had mentioned "the new John" being alive. Matthew started to research and felt very upset and confused after all the information that he was able to find with this group. My aunt and cousin are in this group and we have felt a huge disconnect since then. We felt alone, confused and with so many questions. We have gone through some serious breakthrough and thankfully have found a church that has help us through this process and of course God saved us from continuing this path. Thanks for sharing and spreading the awareness to others about this group. It needs to be exposed and talked about.

Run through the teaching and read the chapter in full. It will give you the answer. Hermeneutics reading of the bible. Read it as it is written. Also go back to the basics of the gospel of Jesus. That when none you realised it makes no sense
You are not alone your story is almost similar to how God helped me out too ..and in the end you helped me learn that there was a reason why we got there God wanted us to learn something or be warned about something and that in one way or another God Himself helps His eople out when we plead Him to after realizing the truth though it can be really confusing at first

I recently left SCJ this month, I discovered their true nature about seven months into the Bible study after they told me, they were using a false name called (Zion theological seminary)! After I found out,it confirmed that I was indeed discerning that something was off with the class & the people I was connected to, Jesus really saved me from these people! But I’m Praying for those who are being recruited still and those I left behind! I have such a burden to intercede for everyone!

How did y’all get other people out of the class and how did yall exit the Bible study. I’m wrestling with if I should just ghost them or tell the leaders why I’m leaving and try to get my classmates out at the same time.

The one who overcome and New John was the red flag. That when I started asking more question. Then we went on about the martyr. That was it. I am was nah. They. Until I took the Special class. Now I going through every think I study. I now I saw were the deception started.
