When I left home as a teenager I never lived in a shelter but by 20 I had an amazing apartment and now at 27 I have moved up again to another great house. God is good He has been with me. There were times I didn’t know if I was going to make it. Not enough food would eat at work didn’t shop a lot, had school debt and now debt free. I got blessed with a good job and I have been thriving. It gets better keep ur head up and be smart and u will make it. We are overcomers. We appreciate things more even though hardships aren’t pleasant we are thankful for all we have.
Child, you are the main character. You are an absolute gem to this world. I am not a Christian but I deeply appreciate the loyalty to your faith, presentation, and moral compass. If you guys have a Ross near you, it’s definitely a penny saver by far. They have a lot of the same stuff as tj max and about the same quality as well but it’s much cheaper.
I also, use to wear thrifted clothing. But, it makes you appreciate the whole process of being able to go shopping for yourself that much more🎉 Love it for you!!!!
do your city/state have a local plato’s closet? if so i’d highly recommend trying there for clothes! they have name brand items including shoes & you can put an entire outfit together for under $15!
Honestly, the thinking you put into how you choose your clothing is what adults all over the place are trying to learn how to do in order to have capsule wardrobes (myself included). Having too many things means they have you, because it requires a lot of you, but having a few basic pieces is the way to go -- life is forcing you to be experts at this, but people pay others to learn this skill. Silver linings!!

I was homeless too has a teenager kicked out. At 27 I am debt free, drive a car, and live in an amazing house. God was with me every step of the way. I M so thankful. God has you and your family. I love how you dress that’s how I dress too modest and being able to wear it a variety of way, turn an immodest clothe modest. I’m from Canada if I ever come to America I will shop like crazy. I'm sure yall have thought of this or done this before but Goodwill is my favorite spot or even thrift stores, I've found so many cute pieces for cheap, they have certain days where certain colored tags are like 50% off, and if yall have a goodwill bin near yall, they charge per pound, you really have to dig through them so it will take some time:) Ross and Marshalls are always a good spot to go to too!

Hey love your videos, God bless you! I go to thrift clothes cause it's cheap and you can find good clothes. If you have a GoodWill Outlet Store (with blue bins) near you they sell clothes for $1.99 per pound (may be between $1-2 depending on where you live). You can get lots of clothes for the low.

I'm sure yall have thought of this or done this before but Goodwill is my favorite spot or even thrift stores, I've found so many cute pieces for cheap, they have certain days where certain colored tags are like 50% off, and if yall have a goodwill bin near yall, they charge per pound, you really have to dig through them so it will take some time:) Ross and Marshalls are always a good spot to go to too!

Hey love your videos, God bless you! I go to thrift clothes cause it's cheap and you can find good clothes. If you have a GoodWill Outlet Store (with blue bins) near you they sell clothes for $1.99 per pound (may be between $1-2 depending on where you live). You can get lots of clothes for the low.
Yeah, they definitely are a lifesaver. I got about 20 pieces for about 15 dollars. I also saw some varsity jackets at my Goodwill Outlet!
