The production let them down on this album. They tried to make it more 'general public friendly' because of the success of Stay Hungry. I was disappointed.

Because the lead single they released for the album "Leader of the Pack" was a huge miscalculation on Dee's part. He thought it would be as successful as Smoking in the Boys Room was for Motley Crue and he was wrong. The other single Be Cruel to Your School wasn't popular either and was pulled from MTV. Neither single was anywhere near as likable as I Wanna Rock and We're Not Gonna Take It and the album just didn't sell. I personally hate both of those singles, but I've heard the rest of the album is good. This is a good song.
I bought this cassette when i was like 6 or 7. I actually think i still have it. I hope i do anyway, but, man that song brings back so much nostalgia. That dark metal punkish new york alley way sound. Just love it. All the old movies like tuff turf, and 3:15 totally come to mind. I was so influenced by all this as a child growing up.
Still listening to them all these years later...and they are still kicking ass with us ...despite the liberal low lives in the PMRC we are all alive and well...the prepped and corporate groups they supported...WHERE THE HELLL ARE THEY?!?!?! AJ we miss you

Twisted Sister were a tour de force, everyone was razor-sharp and everything was within 95% 'as good as the the studio album'..... with lots of ad-Libs , extended solos and audience participation to let you know nobody was faking up there. Professionals....and my life is so much the better for having been a fan 😎👏👏👏👍. Still Twisted 🤘
Seen these guys open for IRON MAIDEN when I lived near Chicago...of all days it was Christmas Eve...the segment of that tour was the DECK YOUR BALLS TOUR.... Both groups delivered... Its a damn shame what happened to AJ though...a very underrated and not appreciated talent by the so called knowledgeable experts...R.I.P.my brother

The backup singing on the chorus is right on the money as it should be. Too often bands are perfect in studio and sloppy on stage, but not so with Twisted Sister.
Absolutely, as much as I love WASP, there were times in some of the larger venues where stuff got sloppy....and I'm not singling out Chris with his battles with the bottle. Twisted Sister were always tight and on time. I listened to the old Iron Maiden 'live after death' album last year, there are times on it where stuff gets a bit out of tune...and that was the stuff they selected for the album. TS were always gold, even in the U.K. 'Marquee Club' , where the acoustics were a bit muffled, talent shines through.
Coulda trimmed a few seconds off the top, IMO, but no matter; they still brought it; I always thought this would be a great concert opener. I love this album, I still got mine, with the pop up record cover #SMF#ForeverTwisted
