Heard about this knot. Think I might give it a try. Seems smoother than the albright for casting and alot easier than doing a PR knot (without a bobbin.... Yes, I'm oldschool like that) pretty simple knot to tie and think it'll do just fine for targeting bank fish as well as Kob (mulloway).... If anyone has tried this knot, please let me know how it performed. Also how many twist up and down. (I know the vid said 10 but for example, on my albright knots I tend to only do 9 up and 7 down.... And on PR knots I will do 20 and 20. Just my way that works for me and use both in rock and surf aswell as bass fishing. So just again my 2c) I will be using it on 20 pound braid and 30 pound mono..... Will be sure to come back here at some stage and give some feedback.

I like that it doesn't have opposing tag ends like the Albright knot does. It is probably a bit smoother to cast through the rod rings.

Turnip knot is stronger.
