The footage and storytelling perfectly capture the thrill and beauty of hunting in New Zealand. The stags featured are breathtaking, and the intense, high-stakes moments add so much excitement. I was on the edge of my seat watching the hunters navigate the challenges and celebrate their incredible catches
Them was some magnificent stag and fallow deer . I think the 3rd. one killed was the best one , but I'm not a professional judge lol ! Very nice video BJHoldsworth .

@@BJHoldsworth Im a wildlife expert with a diploma in hunting managment, these stags are genetically manipulated to make the antlers grow abnormally large. Their keepers inject testosterone into the stags at the end of their rutting phase which promotes the work of osteoblasts in their crowns to work overtime. This is horrible practise and should be punished as its not normal and damages their overall health and reproductive system. But as always, those who pay the money to hunt these mutants dont know anything about the beautiful animals they are hunting...
UA-cam.com/@karlosokcevic6746 There are so many things wrong with your statement... You can't just round stags up and inject them, they aren't sheep. This is decades of care and management of the amimals and there environment, great genetics, ample grass areas, minimal hunting pressure. Lastly if you did 5 seconds of research testosterone reduces antler girth... I don't see that lacking here. Thanks for the vids youtube.com/@BJHoldsworth, I hunt up the Whakarau and it's great having quality genetics in the area
We dont trailer in Stags to be shot and we dont have facilities to be able to inject such , we simple cannot ( And will not ) ever inject anything into our stags. Give your Diploma back , you are wrong . Moron . @@karlosokcevic6746

That first bow-shot looked a lot like it was stuck in the stags shoulder joint and lacked any serious/fatal penetration.
The shot did what it needed to do , That is what matters.

Not sure so I asked her, she reckoned .. 56 Red Hinds , 81 Red Stags , 11 Fallow Bucks, 14 Rams 9 Goats and a partridge in a pear tree..

If that deer had a different hat on he would still be alive today.😄
Is it genetics that makes the antlers grow so big
Yes , and good grass.
