What a lovely Sunday, thank you for sharing. It's so interesting to hear about other faiths. I was raised by agnostic parents and found my way to God in my teens and was baptised into the Church of Scotland when I was 15. My family are good people but are not religious. I've always found my faith to be a great comfort, especially when my husband died. I miss him so terribly but know we will meet again. Thank you for sharing. I enjoy learning about other faiths and how they live their everyday lives. I have worked for the Episcopal Church for 11 years. I think if people stopped for a moment, they would see that we all have a lot in common regardless of where we live, what our nationality is, or what religion we choose. We all need to live everyday to be kind and respectful of each other regardless of our differences. I have watched a lot of your videos and you always are cheerful and have a kind spirit. I really enjoyed the mall shopping trip.
Thank you for sharing information about your faith and how your family practices it. It's so wonderful that you and Mark set an example for your children by the way you go about your lives, teaching them responsibility and providing such wholesome and fun activities. Thank you for answering my question when Mark talked about having been on a two year mission and I knew this was. I feel it is hard because when I was with my first husband I had the privilege of being sealed in the Seattle Temple. I was able to have my Dad sealed to his family and it was wonderful. I was an active member for 10 years prior to Larry joining he was Baptist in St. George ward by the same Missionaries as me. Although I have been married again I still follow the teachings of Christ and I am very proud of my faith. This past year my husband Larry passed away and I was Blessed to spend his last days with him and he still knew where he was going home to his Heavenly Father. He knew that he would be with my Mom and those who would be there to Greetings him. I am glad that he is home I know that his life will be blessed. Thank you for being able to show what true Saints act. God Bless you all. I hope to one day meet you all. My second husband Graeme is a Baptist but has never been negative about my Faith. We were married in 2002 in Chilliwack, British Columbia, CANADA. LARRY and I were married in 1979 I was sealed to him and will remain that way until and will be then with him in my Eternal home.

Growing up we went to catholic church. In 8th grade my dad gave his blessing for me to attend the baptist church. We teens got a activity night every sunday, it was very important to have friends that were also christians. Thank you for sharing your beautiful story. Family is important and including your church beliefs is amazing.

I love how the boys love to cook with you my girls I have three are all grown I miss making meals together My yougest who 18 is so busy with work n collage we don't have time to cook together enjoy everybay with your kids it goes by so fast

One of my high school best friends is a member of the LDS church. I honestly had never heard of the Faith until I met her in 9th grade. Her family is very nice and happy and I’ve noticed a lot of people are who are members of the church. Growing up as a nondenominational Christian it is very different from what I’m used to. Glad you keep the sabbath day holy and just relax before the next week ahead.

You seriously thought that everyone knew the Osmonds? That is funny ! LOL I knew the Osmonds were Mormon (now preferred to be called Later Day Saints) but never thought everyone knew them...well, maybe knew them like you would know any other famous person, but not personally :-)
but now thinking about it -- I guess it is like when you tell someone that you are from a particular town or city and they respond 'oh, do you know john smith' as if everyone knows each other! LOL

I should have said how old I was, I was maybe 3rd or 4th grade, 7or 8 years old. This was back in the early 1970's, definitely grew to know & understand difference.

I really liked that you went into detail to explain the church of Latter Day Saints. I’ve heard of it advertised. Even though I’m Catholic, I always like to see how others worship. Our fireworks have to wait. I’m in the hospital following yesterday’s operation. Anyway, Happy New Year to all of you, including Luna. Liked her picture on the card. Two of my cats look for her when she meows.

I'm conflicted. I was brought up in the Salvation Army. My sister is married to an Elder in the Jehovas witnesses. My mother was another faith I can't remember I don't know what to believe. But I have faith. Xx
It can be tricky with so many options. I think it is most important that we have faith and find someplace to fellowship. I pray you will find direction on your spiritual journey!

I didn't grow up in a Christian family, although the church was always a part of my life through after school club, choir etc. The year I turned 18 I got saved and I have never looked back or regretted it, not even when my family nearly disowned me because of my newfound faith. Its been 20 years now and I am still in awe of how glorious God is.

I wish it was still like that in the world nothing open on Sundays ect.my kids are blown away that things were not open 24/7 & stores n restaurants closed on Sundays I notice things changing in the late 70s
People should be allowed to run their businesses as they see fit -- but we can decide what we choose to do on a Sunday ....and some of us choose not to shop and continue to practice family. It is sad for those who remember it, and want it back but don't take the time to start. It can even be done in baby steps.

It never ceases to amaze me how your boys run around with out coats and warmer clothing. Here in Maryland we see boys running around in shorts in the winter. I guess it’s a boy thing.😅😅

Thank you for sharing your faith with us. You are never too old to learn about how others worship!! In our building we had member of your church who was moving to be nearer to family. The young men and women (teenagers) came to help her move as service project. Soon thereafter they came again to help some of my friends move who were not members of your church. What a wonderful group of girls and boys. They even came back to spend time with some of us senior citizens!! Loved spending time with them!! Merry Christmas to you all!!
