    I just did this on my 2000 (NB1) three weeks ago. I can tell you there is not enough PB Blaster in Heaven or on Earth to get those end links off of a 23 year old midwest driven car. Part of the problem is that, on a 2000 (actually anything not an NA I think), there is no hex-head bolt on the stud to put a wrench on. You have to hold it with an Allen Key on the "working" end - so you can't get a socket on it and hold it at the same time. The nuts are so frozen on, you wind up stripping out the allen slot inside of the stud. I was lucky to have a set of locking pliers skinny enough to grab hold of the stud. With hardly any room to maneuver a tool, it was a fight the whole way.
    To anyone about to do this job on an older model: Save the time and get yourself replacement end-links before you start. I was up on stands for a few days waiting for mine to arrive when I could have been enjoying my new sway bars (which are pretty darn awesome).

    Installed these on my 97 with 97k on it and I noticed a difference in the turn in and a little bit more in the rear stiffness honestly really like how it rides and I’m still on stock suspension but I’ve done 15x8s on some 205/50r15s and it really makes the cars stance and road handling more enjoyable than ever

    Great video Kyle. You make it all look simple and easy to follow. 10/10. I've already upgrade my ARB's and it made a huge different to the turn-in and overall handling. Probably the best mod for your money IMO.

    Great vid, but you should.have taken the opportunity to do it with the adjustable endlinks.
    Oh and just full send on the front bar. Tweak the camber and boom.

      Thanks! On this car, the owner didn't need the adjustable end links since the car wasn't lowered. We have an end link specific video coming up soon! Thanks for the suggestion!

    What did we do before we had power-wrenches for every application ( we used hand tools ) !

    I currently installed your sway bars. The right endlink sits flush with the bar but the left side endlink has a decent gap. The endlinks are a oem type of replacement. I’m also lowers on tein coilovers.

    I just bought a mint 2000 Miata (NB) with 60K on the clock. You have the best content so far. Can you tell me if there is a shop in Pinellas County Florida you are sending parts to? I'd like to find a tuner for the car.

    Great video. Would you recommend upgrading the end-links as well?

      For a street car, at our recommended ride height, you won't see much benefit running adjustable end links but if yours are on their way out, why not.

    Great video Kyle.
    Can you give me your subjective opinion on how much (?) of a difference these sway bars might make on a 2001 Miata with very low miles?
    Thanks

    Are the na and nb sway bars interchangeable?

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  2 місяці тому

      Not really. That's why we offer different parts for the NA6, NA8, and NB.

    • @dha588
      @dha588 8 днів тому

      I put the NA sway bar on my NB2 today and it fits.

    • @FlyinMiataVideo
      @FlyinMiataVideo  7 днів тому

      @@dha588 It bolts into the car, but the three designs have different arm lengths and angles on the ends. By changing the end links you can make the 1.8 ones work, but that's not the same as interchangeable.
