Lovely! I’ll assume the willow came from JS Wrights? Do you have to sharpen your drawknives often? I’m always amazed when you apply the scuff sheet straight after last bit of oil, mine didn’t stick properly when I tried that. Probably better quality sheet there?! 👏
Not sure if you've got one out of frame but you could really use an emergency stop button above that bat press. Btw is it just water you use on the face initially? And do you spray it each time or just the once at the begining of the process?
Amazing craftsmanship, I really enjoy watching your videos as they have an awesome calming effect. After applying the protective sheet to the face and edges, do you consider your bats to be oil free? Or do you still recommend oiling the back of the bat for extended life? Just asking as I never had a bat with protective covering, old school light sand and oil is all I know.
