Yeah it’s on the individual. But like on Val every other game is just filled with every single slur imaginable. So like I can’t play that game solo.
Hey DL. Elementz is an ex teammate of mine. The fact that Elementz was silver, at least on some account, was picked up by broadcast way back in the early seasons and he was used as an example of "pro players with terrible SoloQ". I can't remember what cast said it, since it's been so long, but I remember it being talked about clear as day- So I'm pretty sure you didn't start that.
On Cody- He was actually a very legit and kind dude! ChumpJon (TL OCE) was playing for my friends 3's and was the Top for Cody while trying out for Mid on my team. Knowing Cody's track record I was straight up with him and told him he had better shots of sticking with Elementz.
Eventually, the two teams kind of merged players and both the main roster **and wtf ever we were** would participate in NACLS. Both teams did well, but I do remember the main team with Cody did allow people like CJon to shine and get picked up.
Idk where people got the information about him being Silver, but I doubt it was you. It was something that the studio brought up and was quickly passed around as factual without anyone really "caring" too much. I was heavily inspired by Elementz and when he disappeared- I was lucky enough to support some amazing ADC's (Was hoping 4 u). He helped me in more ways than one- and I'll always be grateful for that. However, I do think brobro should chill a bit. If I had a dime for everytime someone shit on my LoL "career (lol)" I'd have a lot of fuckin dimes. I never took it personal because I knew my teammates had extremely high expectations of me and the game is just full of trash talk. A person can laugh about something you did while also refraining from being malicious in any way.
I wouldn't worry much about the drama. Gl 2 you both.

Stream Dream Team was my favorite team to watch, i followed all the players and just loved the energy when they got together. Plus it was a fresh break from the normal league games.
going back to when i enjoyed pro play the most and hearing the stories of probably the most influential people of that era was so fun. i love when he brings back oldschool players becuase they always have more energy and content to share

So sad that you can contribute to destroying someones reputation, lie about taking legal action against them without facing retribution. Some of us will still remember what he did and I wont care about him until he gives him a apology.

You should do a video with some of the og's and talk about how it was back then and give info and memories around what happened, people the influenced league of legends and made it fun inside and outside the game, some of the innovators for the time, the story how faker came to rise, the first time playing with or against madlife with his god mechanics back then, when azubu frost cheated at worlds, diamondprox being the only jungler to know how to jungle, i think that would be a great video and receive some cool attention :) Loved this video with some of the oldest players.

18 mins in, voyboy hit the nail on the head about why league is dying (besides the obvious; the complete incompetence of the people who balance it, and the absurdly broken champion releases since xayah/rakan including reworks). the game's target demographic has changed; its 15-17 and because once you ve picked up league it consumes such a large part of your life its hard to let go and the game just doesnt get many new players (at least who ll stick with it beyond playing 5 games with some friends and forgetting they installed it after wards) so its now a subset of kids who picked it up the last 3 years and the veterans who ve been playing it since season 2-3 so there s a huge gap inbetween. personally i dont care at all about what happens in chat, fullmute all is a thing (gumayusi does that in challenger kr even), but the examples that DL mentioned with the mental booming happening on what it feels like an infinite number of potential triggers is the real issue but i mean.. riot brought this upon the game themselves by banning only 10-15 preset terms in chat and never banning people who actually ruin games with their actions so.. those players keep playing the game.
PS: I fucking loved scarra's streams during his league days man.. i miss those days so much.

I genuinely don't think the game got worse, like yeah sometimes when you get one shot by an assassin that can be tilting and unfun, but back then even when you were getting one shot by things like AP sion DFG eve DFG ahri etc it wasnt that big of a deal. I think what made league "worse" is the community. As the knowledge of game mechanics increased people started getting more critical and more toxic, even someone at bronze will probably curse out their leesin for not knowing how to execute an insec for example. People also overestimate their abilities and think they're gods even though they're at bronze, going on a complete mental boom from just 1 death. Doesnt help that the systems dont really weed out toxicity, but yeah.
I miss this era. I don't even watch LCS anymore. I remember theoddone's jungle guides and his streams were hilarious.
