God. Ville is so gorgeous I was just looking at his beautiful face the entire time he's so beautiful ughhh.
This is so sad. I've been listening to HIM for as long as I can remember, yet I never got a chance to see them live. This feels like I'm losing an old friend or something.
Me neither😫🤧😭😭😭what sucks even more I just find out a year later they broke up I have posters of Ville in my room since like forever I have all the mercb I used to buy at Hot topic in highschool. This band was a part of my life for years. Much like Evanescence.

I've just started learning a week ago ... and all I can think at this stage is "Thank God for 0.75 playback speed!" Ha-ha!
i'm so heartbroken that i never got the chance to see them live. I was only 9 when I heard "Wicked Game" from them on the TV, and now at 27 I still love them to death. I can't even put to words how much their music helped me throughout the years and at hard times made life a bit more worth living. Ville's voice was always so soothing and I think he has one of the most unique voices out there. I could listen to him all day and night. I hope he makes an album.
Thank you for the translation; this interview really touched me. I grew up with HIM, so I still can't believe the news about their disbanding is real. Ville's lyrics, together with Edgar Allan Poe's poetry kept me balanced and pulled me through some really difficult times in my life, so no matter what I'm doing or who I'm listening to at the moment, I always end up coming back to the comfort that for me is HIM. One of my biggest wishes ever was to get the chance to see and hear them live, and now it will never come true, because they never came to my country, nor any other country near me, and that's a really depressing fact. Still, I'm grateful for their existence and all they've done in these 26 years, so I'll always have their timeless music to hold on to. ♡

Shit, this just made me realise how sad it is for me to see one of my favourite bands come to an end, we're basically the same age and I fell in love with their songs at a very young age. I remember saving money for getting their CDs and official merchandise, the first and last time I saw them live… I'm glad to see them having projects of their own, but I can't help no to feel bad about HIM splitting as a band. Thank you so much for a quarter of a century of Love Metal 🖤🤘🏻.

Siempre piensa lo que va a decir, y espera ser comprendido en lo que el siente y quiere expresar en ese momento. Sus gestos y forma de ser siguen igual, despues de tantos años. Hasta la forma de vestir diría jaja una persona muy fiel a su público y por sobre todo muy fiel a sí mismo.
Really fantastic interview, thank you. Explained things a bit more regarding the split. I think he's pretty gutted about it. I would do anything to hear what they were working on. I bet it sounded ace with Kosmo on board. Shame we won't hear him on an album. It still doesn't feel real? It just feels they're out on tour again. Live dvds never capture the experience of a show but I would welcome one. Something to celebrate the band. They need to go down like the band in titanic, rocking out until the end. Thanks HIM (Ville, Linde, Mige, Burton, Kosmo). We will miss you deeply but we will always remember the sunshine you brought in to our life's. My favourite band since 2003 and until the day my clogs sadly pop. It's the end of a big chapter sadly. See you for 6 shows of the farewell tour & future projects x

My Ville Valo's Severe Asthma makes him really tired and looks tired, but he's totally gorgeous, though.
Gosh I hope he makes more vocal music. His voice is instantly soothing to me. One of the only musicians who can instantly help my anxiety with just his voice. Love his acoustic versions of HIM songs as well! Looking forward to whatever he chooses to do next.
HIM will forever be in our hearts, I couldn't possibly put it into words how much you've made my life worth living over the years. I'll be seeing you all November 10th in Chicago accompanied by the warm autumn breeze and the falling leaves, a perfect night to say farewell to love metal.

This is a great interview with Ville. It really seems he wanted to say a lot of things and they were fairly straightforward and not at all harsh about his bandmates it is like the band needed to end it while they're still on top of their game

The best interview of Ville I’ve seen so far. The interviewer usually asks the dumbest questions but this was truly refreshing. I still can’t believe they aren’t together anymore. 💔

I'm curious on what Ville can do alone. I never got the chance to see them live and their split took me as a surprise, but I think they took the best decision, it would have been more sad to see the band's decadence if they didn't feel enthusiasm about it anymore.
HIM will always be my number on band and Ville Valo will always be my main squeeze

I will always be so thankful for the lovely yet very dark songs they gave us all along the way. Music is what makes life beautiful and definetly they embellished our life. Sometimes we even killed loneliness with them. We'll be looking forward to see more of his art.
I LOVE Ville and HIM, hope after the end of the band he will continue as solo singer in the future, what a great nice guy, he always said that the music industry is a sick industry and he is right

Thank you for the interview and the translation. I'm sad that they decided to break up but the explanation was quite detailed. 25 years of anything is a long time, let alone for one band. They've done some excellent music and I have the albums so can listen to them anytime. Then I feel that after some time we'll hear from them again, in one form or the other, because these are professionals and I don't expect them to completely give up on music and to do the gardening for a very long time. :-) I'm basically not giving up on them.

I can understand that. Sometimes it's just end of the Road like Ville said. Not everyone is going in the same direction anymore. Can't force it that doesn't make for good Music or happy relationship in Band
this is my favourite interview with Ville, because he seems here to be like in a really good mood with all those little smiles, bright eyes shining with honest interest, there is more of it of course, but I'm always too cursed with spell and pure magnetism of his personality to think properly.. :D ;)

Cant quite believe they're breaking up. But I'm glad they're ending on a high note. I'd never seen them live but as soon as I heard they were splitting I got tickets to one of the shows this December! So sad but happy I'll get to see them before the bittersweet end 😭👌🏻

I have loved h.i.m 15 years. I have never got to see them. I did have tickets when they toured in the states in 2006. But my step dad sold them because i was grounded. My life long dream is to see them live. But now it will never happen because they arent coming close to where i am at.
