I got some of these guys on discount for 11 dollars on a target sale recently with the python patrol OFFICER officer (The one that was called officer before classified) at $14. I checked this review again and some other reviews because I was mildly freaking out over the fact these guys light green plastic had stress marks on the area around the pins in the elbows out of packaging that only got worse each time I bent it. Kept happening even after heating up the joints. Only other time I've seen this happen with a figure made of soft plastic like this was with stuff I've bought from BST AXN. I can see the stress marks in this vid and some others too, but I don't know if it's just some batches or all of them that ended up like that because I can literally find nothing on this looking it up online for some reason. Noticed some joint tolerances are weird but not in the area where the stress marks are forming. Just glad I was actually able to get a small squad of 3 of these guys and 1 of the other Python Patrol officer. The standard cobra trooper wasn't as smooth of a journey to get even 1 of.
Awesome review love the diffences I'm getting the python patrol bat & viper tomorrow & Thursday the officer isn't currently available to buy online so I'm gunna have to wait, I do love tiger force outback, sorry for rambling I will keep it shorter next time
Still looking. I was stunned to see the Duke and Tiger Ram at a local Target. Mainly cause was not in the normal area. Was walking to find the as seen on tv merchandise aisle and saw the art out the corner of my eye and jist said "Wait a tick what was that?" And turned and went back. Checking every aisle in the toy section now. Actually glad seeing different skin tones though hope don't do running changes with a different tone as not really an army builder but would be tempted for sure to have a nice mixed group. I await to see the python trooper (mostly black suit with a colored harness.) Only original Python Patrol fig I had growing up along with a Python Conquest
Good luck. Most stores should have to restock by now. My store is a freaking ghost town. They're probably not going to restock until the end of the month or something 🤦🏾♂️

I don’t really consider the arm band a loss as more than likely ship with the actual Python “Officer” or as they will call it the Python Trooper. Technically this is the Python Trooper if look at the original 1989 names and mold used in 1989 but Hasbro after 30 years decided to “fix” the names.
Love the Python line so far. It's much better imo than the Tiger Force. Since troopers imo always outweigh duplicate named figures. Having Duke twice or Outback just doesn't sit right.
Black harness on the python patrol would look better than gray harness because pants are black. Im going to switch harness with cobra officer. Give cobra officer gray and python black.
That rifle is most definitely not an AR which is a civilian non-automatic rifle which is basically an M-16 or an M-4, technically, no character would have an AR. It's an AK. And AR is not short for assault rifle... Aside from that, I dig the review
I cannot deny that I am highly disappointed in this repaint. Not because it's a repaint...it's because it's also a mismatch. In the original O-ring line, this paint-design was the Python Patrol Trooper and the Classified figure itself *IS* a repaint of the regular Cobra Trooper. So this really should have been a Python Patrol Cobra Trooper figure. All they did in this release was give it the Officer's accessories, except the arm band insignia. This is why the chest plate doesn't have the rank listed and doesn't have the same neck or arms; which is important. What this tells me is a couple things. 1) They aren't going to release a Python Patrol Trooper. 2) They didn't want to spend the money to produce the detailed body armor of the standard Cobra Trooper and have to pack it with all the weapons a trooper comes with. 3) They didn't want to use the actual Cobra Officer buck because the Officer buck has additional articulation. It's fore arms have swivel; one of only two figures in the Classified line that do (the other is Storm Shadow.) If I happen to see this figure in the store, I will get one. I will not try to hunt this one down and won't be sad if I fail to get it at all.

Found a bunch of Outback today in the North Bay.

Great figure, hasbro has issues with yellow paint applications on all their toys. Where is that cobra commander in his armor, hopefully coming soon.
