Thank you everyone for watching the premiere with me!! I had a lot of fun = ) This game was a lot of fun to film but it was probably the biggest game I’ve filmed in ages. Filming wise I probably filmed for around 25 hours to get the footage needed. If you want to help support the channel, don’t forget I have a Ko-Fi and Patreon, should you fancy it! All the likes, comments and engagement etc etc also help massively = ) Cheers!
#52 - If the Inca had the University of Sankore, they'd have been smart enough to know not to waste production on building a mountain tunnel in a single tile mountain "range".
It's incredible how much you do to make these videos- and so consistently, too! Thank you for doing it to make a couple of internet strangers produce happy neurotransmitters.
Great video, very sus of your initial settlement. If those horses were not adjacent to the city center you would've been screwed with literally 0 ring 1 tiles giving prod. But then again you got a bunch of early tech out so it worked out. I would've moved 2 turns to the plains hill to get the extra city center prod and the 2 food 2 prod tile.
I don't play Civ. And just as adulthood forced me to no longer watch anime nor read several manga at the same time, I neither have time nor motivation to play Civ. But watching other people play Civ with a passion is still a way to have fun from the game. I guess this is the magic of watching playthroughs lol.
Yaaay! You did the vampire thing =D Btw, I would still go Grand Columbia or prioritize a great general for the movement on the vamps. In my experience, movement is a greater bottleneck than HP. Another thing you can do is to set a city to mass-produce scouts and just kamikaze them next to the vampire to feed it. Great content as usual!
Your videos always come out around 9pm my time and i usually watch them right before bed. I fall asleep and watch the rest the next day, hope that counts as 2 views!
Man with all that tea around this would have been a great start for monopolies and corporations mode. (Also great for Maya and/or Gran Columbia because plantations)
I like to play Sanguine with civ like Gran Colombia and tons of rails because the one weakness of vampires is they're so bad at movement. It's not matter if you can crush a GDR with a single hand when you get kited every time you try to approach it. :(
Settling on the tea across the river but next to the stone would have been my preferred move, if you want a tea settle. The clustering of the tea in your settle location makes it hard for good district adjacency, and you're forced to aqueduct in only 1 spot
oh, yes, just keep feeding the lord of the land... it's gonna turn up Juuuuuuuuuuust fine. also Cleopatra is there, that's nice, i mean if you going to be biting necks, her neck is gonna be way better that BEEFY pachacuty.
Why is the AI not building walls? Would it be because the game speed? I’m playing on online speed lately and they basically have walls by turn 30 or less. Ursa, halp pls ):
I think that the spawning spot was better because it had an additional 2 pearls. Not that you'll be trading much in this game... Also, not that this is much help, deserts are the best places for ley lines.
I find using vampires on an AI opponent first leaves me to never managing to level up their barb head count, they just become to central to the main army and then take so long to move to the barbs it just never happens :( Also vamp castles, while cool, drag them from their main job of murder, so I never get them as I should be doing either... pity it would be OP if they could teleport like Heros or Great People but I wish they moved a bit quicker.... (Ursa enters stage left with railroads...)
It was already out when you posted this comment! haha - check my main page. I think the playlist wasn't set up properly (now fixed) so sometimes that messes up the autoplay

btw, I just realised that your background music is VRChat music!!!
Is that 25 hours _JUST_ filming, or does that include the editing and uploading as well?
Scythia basically has a built-in Venetian Arsenal for horses
Venetian Horsenal
Does it work for tanks too?
@@juliuscesar7277 iirc, it works for any (light?) cavalry unit. You would have to check the description of the ability for the exact wording
@@NanoGalactic42 Tanks are heavy, helicopters are light .. so... it should work for helis
@@gustavinus it does.

If I don't produce random internet stranger neurotransmitters, who will?

It's like that scene in Avengers: Endgame "I hate you -45". Classic.
Yay! Another big game!
I'm impressed you can keep a straight face every time you say Sucklington.
It's a highly serious name yes yes

It is! I had the same thing when I was starting work. Keep enjoying games in whatever way, no way is wrong!
Love the innovative ideas for new games. Please please keep doing this~ thank you!
Glad you like them! More to come... XD

Cheers! Movement yeah is amazing with Vamps
I'm very excited for this one! Looking like a great start!
Good game. I like how you’re sticking with this one even though the Aus war hasn’t been 100% smooth sailing.
Yeah! Sometimes war is a horrid grind, just like IRL... =(

Its a coastal spawn maybe not maya.

The vampire rail network strat is very real - watch this space XD
A Civ player actually spelling Colombia correctly? Based

True - I never mind having more sea though. Helps late game with sea steads
At least you can place Aqueducts on most desert cities. Those mountains are handy...
large ursa Ryan domination is the best on youtube

Great vid! btw do you think this is possible on deity++?
Absolutely ! In some ways it would be easier. In others, like the time it would take, much harder!!
What a start!
I love how hotel WiFi can choose to load a coors light ad but not this video
It is a light ad after all, they didn't mean the beer clearly
love your content
go east young vamp!

I will put the kettle on.

The map can often impact stuff - if a civ is threatened or surrounded it will often build walls faster. Attack fast, before they can defend!

The one thing I wish vampires did was ignore zone of control / have cavalry style movement - they would be so much better with that!
Wish that the civ community was bigger but what can you do
It's pretty huge from what I can see!!
Vampire stallion
How about getting an early Galley to get the Vampire to 30 strength?
Always a good move! Horsemen rush was the better option here but this is a fab play normally
The starting settle has literally no production how were you able to pull this off 😅
And the massive desert as well 🤭
Does anyone else miss the immensely broken ability on release with the horsie boys?
The build and sell? Ah, good days. Reminds me also of the chop anywhere in the world
@@UrsaRyan that was hilariously broken 😂

And what's for tea?
More tea. Always tea
