Great job Mike. I like working on my own stuff too. Maintaining our toys is all part of the experience.
I've owed multiple sleds and bikes and atvs and never brought them back to the dealers. Keep up the good work 👍

Yes I agree wrenching on them is a part of it and I love it also thanks for watching and commenting👍

You should check and adjust the toe when the sled is on rolling dollies. And lock the handlebars in place with ratchet straps on each side of the bars to the tunnel. Also should check it with the rider on it.

Good video Mike just one thing you should put a bungee cord between the ski loops to take all the slop out of the steering system at no time do you want a toe in condition it will dart uncontrollably

@@mikeguliz you shouldn't need it on a new skidoo but some of the other sleds come sloppy out of the box or if it has some miles on it and some play it works good

Actually you want to spread the skis apart because Toe out spreads them while running.

So Skidoo stopped putting lock nut on the inside Tie Rod ends. They figure everybody was just taking the outer Tie Rod end off and spinning it for adjustment. So now the threads on the inner Tie Rod end are always moving back and forth. Keep those greased or they will wear and have slop.
