My heart broke when you said that the la rive fleur de femme is terrible 😭😭😭 it's actually one of my favorites I totally get cherry in the opening I think it's a 98% dupe to Dior poison girl edt, but I guess we all smell things differently.

Ah, I feel like your taste in perfume is quite close to mine! Escada Moon Sparkle was my signature back in middle school, when it first came out. What a memory! I went through 2 large bottles of the stuff before it got discontinued. Now that I think about it, back in the day that was an insane amount of pocket money, my saving game must've been so strong! As for Hugo Boss Jour, it's a really nice, elegant day fragrance and I think you'd really enjoy it xx

I came from middle Europe where La Rive fragrances are £5-£7.I tried some of them as a teenager and a student and they lasted few hours which was ok for me then. They are inspired fragrances and some really resemble the original. Apparently Beauty from the swarovski crystal collection is a good one (Armani, Si:)I've heard Taste of Kiss and Hope have very good reviews too!

I like the ones I have la fleur de femme ,cash is a dupe of lady million and I love the taste of kiss. They are fun not super quality but they are nice to add to a collection .Its nice to have nice expensive perfume but its also nice to have some cheapies. Nice video your hair looked so pretty and glossy.

Dior hypnotic poison does not last at all! For the price I think if this dupe performs better I'll be happier 😌
Ive just ordered have fun for my mother for a little stocking filler for Christmas because she adores escada fragrances so thank you for the recommendation!. Escada done a moon sparkle for men as well i would loved to have tried it but its sadly discontinued as are many from escada. Ill have to try a few from la rive they seem decent for the price!.

I'm from Finland, and these perfumes have been here for years and years, i used these when i was like 9-15 years old ( Yes, i used to wear perfumes at a very young age, i remember having my very first "perfume" when i was 6 years old) They are super cheap and easy to get. I discovered these scents again after many years and i must say that i still like them! Even tho i have mostly designer scents in my collection i can still appreciate these perfumes. I have "Fleur de femme'' and "She is mine" and i must say that i prefer ''She is mine'' over the original 'Mon Paris'.

@@SarahMayes Definitely! It's very patchouli heavy but i like patchouli so it's not problem for me. It also lasts like 6 hours on my skin.
I just got three La Rive fragrances from The Perfume Spot today, purchased for a song ( $7.48- $7.80 each, wow). I got Fleur de Femme, Madame in Love and Aqua. I actually like them all and the bottles are pretty classy for that price! My Madame in Love didn't have the black rose attached, weird. That retailer does not have all the La Rive fragrances, but they have quite a few for both men and women. I love these because no way can I afford the ones they are dupes for/similar to. I will be buying more in the future, I do believe ~Cynthia

I love La Rive! Try Tesori d' Oriente too! They are my latest discovery and I can't stop recommending them to everyone! So cheap, yet so wonderful and long-lasting (at least on my skin)!

AWESOME video! Thank you so much for doing this!! I purchased Have Fun so fast after hearing your comments (so excited to get it). I have Hello Beauty and it disappears in 20 minutes on my skin. I like Sweet Hope and it performs well on me (smells like spicy root beer to my nose). I also have Prestige Tender which is supposed to be a dupe for Euphoria but it's got a weird off-putting note I can't put my finger on (beautiful bottle though). I'm excited to pick up Madam in Love, Pearl and Taste of Kiss after watching this. Thank you Sarah! 💗

I gotta pick up some of these, I have Miss Dream (which is a dupe for CH Good Girl) and I’d say it’s about 85% similar.
I just got Miss Dream yesterday and it IS really close to the original! It only cost me $10 from Frgrancenet! Its just a lighter version of Good Girl, imo. I fix that by overspraying big time!!! Have you bought any more lately that are good?

Ooh yay! I have Taste of Kiss and I love it (great longevity on me!). I also really enjoy Sweet Hope (layered over others it lasts a long time), and the Moonsparkle dupe (reminds me of Love Spell by Victorias Secret, do you remember that body spray?). Anyway, I also have the Olympea dupe, called In Flames, have you tried that one? I like it but I can't remember what Olympea smells like to compare them...lol
I loved Love Spell so I'm definitely getting the Moon Sparkle dupe! TY for saying this!

I only have one la rive perfume and it's the queen of life perfume (Idk if that's a dupe for anything but it's absolutely gorgeous)
So while it doesn't have amazing longevity I got a huge bottle for $7 so having to do multiple sprays is no biggie at all

I have 2 Cash and cute. Cash is over poweringly sweet and cute smells like fresh water. I have them for about 2 years now, and use cute as air freshener and after many sprays I'm just now starting to smell something from it. It was so weird when I got it as it had no scent.

Hi Sarah, there’s an Australian brand of fragrance called “Palermo Perfumes” and they do dupes. They have hundreds of fragrances. I have about 10 of them and they are good quality and long lasting and cheap. I have one inspired by Oud Satin Mood and it’s beautiful and lasted all day on me. I have the original oud satin mood to compare and it’s about 90% accurate. The Palermo ones aren’t quite as deep and rich as the original but they’re decent. I noticed that they do a dupe for Moon Sparkle. I’ve never sniffed the original moon sparkle but I’m gonna check it out on Tuesday.

Hi Jacqui, I just came across your comment. I’m in Melbourne and recently found Palermo. I’ve tested the Oud Satin Mood dupe and thought it was amazing! I only currently own the Gentle fluidity Gold dupe which I love but was wondering what else you might recommend from the ones you have. They have sooooo many, it’s overwhelming. 😅
@@Jo-lw1qw hi Jo, the ones I can recommend are the dupes for Herod, Chinatown, New York amber, Tuscan leather, and black Phantom. The one for lost cherry is a scrubber. I hope this helps but test them before you buy because some aren’t good.

I actually tried the lost cherry and found it smelled almost like almond extract. 🤢 I ended up grabbing Zara cherry smoothie to get the cherry fix instead. 😂

Ps: JFenzi dupes are stronger, LaRive less strong, we have alsi Bi-Es, but I have 3 fragrances from them and they dont last long enough, JFenzi is better quality maybe $2 more expensive but its worth it.
I have jfenzi and I can agree however it’s hard to access in the UK. I usually order from Poland & have to pay tax. Luxure also have good dupes as well.
If you want a deeper, richer version of Dior Hypnotic Poison, Jean Rish Aura Woman. The bottle is identical to Alien, but the juice is Hypnotic Poison 😂 It has the floral richness that Sweet Hope lacks. Sweet Hope is a bit sweeter and a little more linear than HP. I’ve put them all side by side and I’d pick the Aura dupe over HP, tbh.

Try Bi Es dupes. Especialy Paradise Flowers, Blossom Gardens, Blossom hills bliss of joy.
The two best La Rive male fragrances in performance are Brave (Invictus) and Just On Time (Pure XS), both Paco Rabane clones.
I have a dupe from La Rive it copies La Vi Es Belle. It was 4 dollars at the perfume where house by where I live.

helps but are you sure that 3 sprays won’t choke people out in high school because people are right next to each other in desks. I find the first 3 sprays being really strong so I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with it, how far does 3 sprays project and last. And what’s ur rating on the actual scent do you like it more or do you find it offensive. Also has ur opinion on fleur de femme change because I really like that one too. Do you think 3 sprays of fleur de femme and 3 sprays of a strong body spray would be overpowering or pleasant in school environment as well thx

I love Armani Si Passione but longevity is bad on me, so La Rive dupe is ok for me. Will try that La Nuit Tresor dupe. Chatler has quite good dupes. I tried Chatler CH Good Lady, lasted longer on my skin than the original Good girl. Also tried and liked Admit it, dupe for Dior Addict; and I quite liked Paza Hipnotic, dupe for Hypnotic Poison. Want to try the dupe for Midnight Poison.
I agree so much! Armani Si Passione only lasts 10 minutes max.
Hi Sarah, love your reviews! I have La Rive Cash. It smells absolutely gorgeous 🤩. You have to try it. I found a new perfume site and found the La Rives for $5 to $8 . I also got Armaf Club De Nuit Intense Woman for $17. It's called Tiger Lily Parfum. Super prices. Also want to know if you tried the Franck Olivier "Oud Touch" yet? Would like to see your review on that.

Hi, I think La Rive is a company from Poland, but longevity is not so good. Usually when I want dupe, I go for brand JFenzi. When I had dupe LaVie et belle, it was very long lasting perfume. The name was: C'est la vie. JFenzi prduct have stronger concentration.
I have prestige from jfenzi which is dupe of lanvin eclat darpege. But it does miss some sweet wibe. Its more citrusy. Close only about 50%which is not enough for dupe. Better to buy original. Prestige cost abour 3 euros for me 😂😂😂
I have Poison Girl EDP and Fleur Femme and they smell exactly the same. It is the EdP version.

I just got White Soul by ted lapidus. Its smells weird to me. Kinda like joint or arthritis ointment mixed with vanilla powder. Its so strange...... 😖

Taste of kiss is darker . I like it more then tresor la nuit its so sirupy and to heavy

Taste of kiss by la rive I want to wear to high school but don’t want too strong and it being “IM WEARING PERFUME!!” How many sprays should I wear for more of arms length away u can smell me, and smell good not overpowering. Is 3 sprays too much? Or is this more of a light smell. I’m asking because some people can be allergic and sensitive to perfume and classmates sit close together in a room next to each other at desks and tables. How strong is 3 sprays of taste of kiss and how long last that amount. How far people can smell it. Is it really smell good or just smells like strong perfume. Do u think most people will like and not mind it. What degrees weather do you think it’s suitable for I know colder weather but what degrees is colder weather for u under 70 degrees Fahrenheit? Also what degrees warmer weather like 80 degrees it’s suitable. It’s suitable for spring and summer weather or too heavy. Can u recommend the Fahrenheit degrees to wear it for example less than 80 degrees. Do you think it’s ok if I wear in summer time in hot weather. What’s ur rating plz answer all questions fast.
Hi there! I would say Taste of Kiss is a colder weather fragrance. You could probably get away with it up to 75 degrees or so. I think 2-3 sprays would be fine as it will wear close after an hour or so. Hope that helps!

So I am really curious how longevity is on your skin? I bought 2 of these because of another UA-camr who recommended them but I was So dissapointed because they only last 30-60 minutes on me 🙄 I have the one duping black opium and mon paris, both pretty good dupes but longevity is terrible on me
I haven’t given any of mine a really good wear test yet but I have been spraying Pearl on my arms a lot and it will last about an hour before I don’t smell it much any more. I haven’t tried any of the stronger ones yet but I’ll update you guys when I do. ❤️
Touch of Woman I couldn't get it to last when I first got it, but when I put it away for the spring and summer and pulled it back out for the fall it was too sweet and long lasting for me. Maybe put it aside for a while and see if that improves the longevity when you pull it back out?
Sarah, in your description box it says Madame in Love resembles Gucci Bloom, but in the video you say it’s Gucci Flora. So I think it‘s a mistake 💗

I own about ten La Rive fragrances and I would not recommend them because they don’t last at all. They lose their smell and become a skin scent within minutes. I wish they were better quality, I know a lot of people like them but the longevity and potency is seriously lacking.
They perform worse than some body splashes I have. La Rive is something you carry in your purse and take on errands or to work and you spray yourself every hour or so or you won’t smell like anything.
I dont like armani Si as well it smells like room spray 😁
A year later do you still use any of these?
I do! I still use Pearl, Have Fun and a third that I can’t recall the name at the moment. 🥰

LA RIVE PEARL IS A DUPE FOR= Valentino by valentino,. they have allmost same note ony but 2 are diferent valentino have violet y taragon but i guess since is a dupe and for 13$ you cant ask much

I was so disappointed in these fragrance they dont last at all on me. One tip I can give is put some base oil on first then spray I found that helps. I would not buy again.

Why make comments on the ones you’re not into you knew you were not a fan of that fragrance make no sense
No, they aren't any good. They last half an hour. The worst logevity fragrances I have ever tried. They smell like the originals but they are fade with lightspeed.
I can't get past that this brand seems more knock-off than dupe. Even the bottles look like bad knockoffs of the original fragrance. But 25 years ago, I wore Gender One (bad CK One knock-off, bottle and all) when even CK One was way out of my price range. I know a lot of people who are in the position I was at that time in my life and they deserve to smell great too. I just wish this brand wasn't so blatent about what they are doing...at least change up the packaging a bit. Everyone figures out which scents Zara is duping.
I absolutely agree. La Rive smells good, but it would be so much nicer to wear if it wasn't for these terrible names (like Her choice instead of My way, In-Si, and so on) and bottles that look so similar to the originals. I liked the Prestige line, with beautiful bottles, classy names and no resemblence to the original packages.
