- You might be saying to yourself, "Self, ALB said today was Monday in this video, but it's not Monday." Well, there's a funny story about that. And by funny I mean super frustrating. So I filmed this video last week, to have it ready for Monday. On Monday, I spent about 6 hours trying to upload it? But I kept getting stuck on the processing page. I was all, gosh darn you to heck youtube, I'm just trying to share some ASMR joy with the world! But youtube wasn't having it. So I went to bed. The following two days were spent far away from my computer, because I was helping a dear friend move into her new apartment. So I apologize for the lateness, but this is the soonest I could get it to you. And with that, I bid you adieu, as I am about to fall down into my bed and sleep zzzzzzzzz

I always come back to this video. My favorite line is when you read “you were the picture of perfection everyday no matter what I tried to understand you but the door was always shut.” That one long line is what happens between me and my two sisters
I thought Frozen was cute, but the animation that really touches me is Brave. But, like you, there's a sentimental reason. I am Merida, down to the hair. The relationship between Merida and her mother reminds me of me and my mom. ANd I saw it with her. I always cry when I watch it. :o) Loved the video. You have beautiful hands.
I feel similarly. I'm not quite that similar to Merida, and my mom and I have a much more understanding relationship, but I saw this movie with my mom when I was going behind her back... doing things I shouldn't have done with people I shouldn't have been spending time with, basically, and feeling reeeeeally guilty about lying to her. (That sounds like a really elementary school situation when it's written like that, but it was more complicated -- excessively so.) So I cried bitter tears the first time. I thought I would never be able to "mend the bond" and have any kind of happy resolution. But when she found out and when I left those people... she gave me a safe space to grieve the losses I felt. She did the exact opposite of what I had been afraid she would do. And it took a little while, but I got my open, understanding relationship with my mom back.
... Point being: I too thought Frozen was cute but have more sentimental feelings about Brave.
That's exactly how I feel about Brave. It touches my heart since it hits so close to home.
I feel you! I'm super close to my mum so I cry every time I watch Brave without fail, especially at the end of the movie!
(And it helps that we're Scottish so we're required to like it. :P)
MrsRaquelPerez I felt that connection with Lilo & Stitch, the two sisters are mine and I, and always cry to the Aloha song...
MrsRaquelPerez whenever i watch Brave and the part where Mordu is defeated and Merida is trying to bring her mother back to her human form, i legit start bawling like a baby and run into my Mom's arms. Yeah...that part always gets to me
Frozen is one of my sons favorite movies. He is sleeping and couldn't watch this video with me 😞. I found myself tearing up because I thought how he would love this book. I'm such a mush lol. 😢. Thank you for this can't wait to show him for nap time tomorrow.

Ahhhhhh the rubbing of the pages between fingers! I totally forgot I loved that sound!! I used to wish for those sounds during story time in elementary school. Major neck tingles!

this book is so adorable...i sort of wish it was reflected more in the movie. elsa gets so little screen time, and we don't get any of this side to her personality at all. also, i feel like the geometric style works way better in 2D than in 3D. i think it was originally going to be a 2D movie too, but then disney dumped their whole traditional animation department. :C
I would LOVE to see a fabric store role play......cutting fabric and ribbon placing a price tag on it or you know the price tags that are perforated and you tear the price tag and go to the cash register, and type in prices, package up the fabric and buttons, ribbon, etc. that would be AWESOME!!! That was my first tingle, at the fabric store....when I was around 9-10 yrs old...anywho, I love your voice!!puts me to sleep almost every night;) I rarely have to take melatonin anymore!! Yayyyy
I actually LOVE how all your videos are so PINK. The color is actually ultra soothing.

I bought this book because of this post, and it’s one of the only books that makes me cry while reading it to my daughter.
I'm fairly new to your channel but I would like to say thank you so much for taking time out of your day to film. Honestly, I have had the worst trouble sleeping. In the past I've probably slept two to three hours a day. With your videos, I fall asleep and stay asleep for at least eight hours a night and I just feel so much better and happier. Again, thank you ALB!

This is probably your best video till date. The sound quality was perfect!! The hand movement couldn't be better. The book choice was amazing. I feel so fresh after seeing this video. After watching you read this, I went out and got this for my little sister. I loved it so much.
Your favorite page reminds me of the scene in Fantasia, with the little frost fairies skating on the pond.
This was so so beautiful. My sister and I are very close, but extreme opposites. This book made me cry. I ended up buying 6 copies. One for me and one for my sister, and then one for each of my coworkers daughters. Thanks for this video, I enjoyed not only the ASMR aspect of it, but the Frozen stories continue to kick me in the feels.

Wonderful video! I love illustrated books, as a kid I would flip through the pages of "Oocha!", "The Rats Came Back" and "When Cats Dream" over and over again because the illustrations were so beautiful :)

That scene is totally Sleeping Beauty! I love Brittany's artwork because it reminds me so much of Sleeping Beauty, and as a kid, that was one of the most artful films I liked to watch. I loved the detail put into painting the backgrounds and everything. It started to get me to appreciate art! So Frozen heavily reminds me of that.

This is honestly my favourite video of yours ever! Everything about it is perfect. I don't know why it doesn't have more views. The mic and camera setup are just a YES. I wonder how many times I've listened to/watched this. I come back quite frequently (so over more than a year already lol) and it has a calming effect every time.
