I initially mapped with a M2ED, with an iPad and GSPro. I am a crash reconstructionist, about 40% of my work is at night. We had great results. I then bought the M2EA, which came with smart controller. What I thought would be a great step forward was not. We are unable to fly night missions, at all, now. The smart controller doesn't have an option to hover/capture. You also can't use an iPad and GS pro, nor can you link the old "dumb" controller and use an iPad. Any of these 3 options could solve a huge problem. The thermal sensor is a huge improvement, nothing else has been for us. We also purchased RTK, it does not work with our NTRIP. If you are in Law Enforcement, crash recon especially, I'd have to say not to buy the M2EA until DJI fixes the issues. DJI, please fix these issues.
Hi Robert, perhaps can check out the MSDK solution DroneLink for this specific request in regards to stopping for each photo. As of now the M2EA does not support iOS SDK which includes GSPro. For the NTRIP issue please contact our support team for an updated beta app version which will work with older NTRIP protocols that you might be utilizing.
Thank you for the share
