@@seinfeld11123 That is flat out not true. MCM has given shoutouts to all of the spin-offs (Including Nugget Garage, which is not a direct spin off) on several occasions.
My favourite episodes are the ones that collab with local businesses. It could be gross and come across as some foul advert, but I really like when the lads acknowledge that they are not the experts and go to someone that is. Thanks.

I like when someone can explain complex things into everyday terms. Not only can Matt does the fab work I reckon he understands the theory behind it.
My old boss always said.....if you cant explain it simply then you dont know enough about it....i cant simply explain something, i have to explain everything about it and related parts lol. He said i confused him explaining the simplest things because i was too in depth.
I can imagine TurboYoda wearing the his glasses and turning into a scientist and explaining it science language and then takes of the glasses and sounds like a typical Aussie. 😁😁😁😁

It's strange to think the cascade of events that led to the creation of this channel and many others. If Marty and Moog hadn't decided to film themselves working on their shitboxes in Marty's mom's driveway, we would have never seen amazing folks like Al, Scotty, Woody, Benny and so many others. Most of them would probably be quietly plucking away at work and on personal projects and none of us would have the chance to see their skill and learn from their experience. Your boy Matt does nice work. This is why you go to people with the know how and the set up. It's why I get mechanics to work on my car when possible. I could do a lot myself, did when I was younger, but it's just easier to give the job to someone with the tools and the experience to know what to fix, and work their way out of problems too.
For some nose angle adjustment with leaf springs, wedges can be used between the spring and the axle - it's commonly use for heavy vehicle caster adjustment. There will, of course, be limits to the adjustment, but for fine tuning it should certainly help.
Been delayed watching this episode too many times. I have to say the skill and foresight of the pair of you and those who you bring in on these builds is consistently fantastic.

I'm doing Movember for the company I work for, doing that Move for Movember thing, walked 64km already, only started Sunday, didn't do it yesterday because I cooked myself on Monday, but did the same distance again today in one session instead of two & barely felt it.

Just out of curiosity, the rear leaf springs in fairlanes and most of the big body fords and utes have always been quite long. The rear springs in this beast don't physically look too beefy, is there any concern surrounding spring wrap and axle tramp with the current springs? Also top notch work as always boys 👍

Poor Al,specs are the bane of tradesmen,but rust never sleeps.
Upgrades time - always a delight when the Fairlane comes back for the yearly updates.
On the other side of things, growing a beard/mustache isn't a problem for me - takes all of a week to get the basics in place, and then a week to fill out... But I am not crazy about how any mustache looks on me (face better suits a well trimmed goatee/small beard). It's for a good cause though, so I did fully shave on the 1st and already got the basic outline going (been doing it for 6 years now). :-)

I reckon I could do something like this pretty easily. All I'm missing is the skill, training, knowledge, experience, equipment, tools, parts, money, time and space. But other than that I could do it.

A bloke can adjust the pinion angle on a leaf spring setup by using an angled shim under the axle plate. It’s not ideal maybe, but it works.

love the show, love the fairlane and seeing it's development. as soon as i started adding horsepower to my XB i had a lot of trouble with axle tramp. i found a set of GT style traction rods and mounts and when i installed them it totally eliminated axle tramp. especially when doing naughty things. lol. will you be fitting something similar considering the power and type of punishment this is likely to receive?
