That spot that drops off to 100 plus feet right by the shore looked amazing! You definitely should go back to see if you could ever land burbot from there. Amazing video as always. You're kinda nuts for braving some of those brutal elements. A pit stop to Burger King sounded like a life saving option.
2 for 2. Great job with your last few videos capturing more of the adventure. The small details help make it easier for us watchers to live the adventure with you. Felt satisfied at the end for sure. Can't wait till the next.
I love the bird sanctuary Islands my dad's been taken me there sense the earlie 2000s past big Eric's bridge to the big lake . I have good friends with a cabin on the yellow dog plains so we always go to the mouth to relax . Thanks for the great video
Dude, you’re living the dream! Shared this video(and others) with some friends who are for diehard hunters and fisherman up here in Quebec, and gotta say we’re envious! Drifting while cooking bacon, with a chromer jumping off the front. Dang… it just don’t get better!
Your passion always comes through in your videos. It’s always a good day when we get one of your videos. Thank you for bringing us along. Much appreciated.
I remember visiting my grandparents in Michigan upper peninsula in rexton and we would go cut wood and all the small branches that had leaf on it when we left. Would come back the next day to get more and the leaf that was on what we fell would all be gone. The deer were probably waiting on the perimeter to gorge themselves because most of the leaf would be gone.
Looks like a ton of fun from sitting in my 70 degree office! I think I'll wait for regular 40°+ before I venture out into the water. I've never caught a splake though so that's awesome.
Love the videos Kyle ! Been watching your stuff for years now awesome to see the new adventures! And also when making your bread try rolling it out nice and flat, then roll it up like snoop dog and it will give you a nice airy loaf !
I use tomato bullion allot, great stuff. Also I'll toss in a can of chopped tomatos, that extra acid will break down the connective tissues. Hey another great adventure
I haven’t fish in 30 yrs as life got busy but having time now I have enjoyed your videos for the last 5 months and think it’s time to pick myself a rod up.. I think Oliver has a great life ..
I'm semi new to your channel and I can't understand why you don't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. What is wrong with people? Dude, I love your content and your energy is amazing!!
Actually, if you can get old is what you want because Oak burns the hottest the longest cedar good but it’s too fast like pine birch is all right but again too fast. If you can find an oak tree, it burns extremely hot for a long time. That’s why they like it Smoker so much.
How on earth have i not run into you? Crazy. I fish that stretch and some on the west of that. We just got blasted with snow. So all this is gonna melt and this weekend should be the best few days so far. I'll bump into you hah.
Any idea why splake have a size limit ? They are hatchery made cross between a brook and lake trout and do not reproduce. One would think there only purpose would be to be stocked caught and eaten. Also i believe they are not a long lived species five to seven years maybe? Also have you seen the remote controlled toy boats being used to run lines out from shore instead of wading out and casting? Might be an option for some of the areas you cant reach As always great show And tight lines
I know exactly where you are fishing I have family in Baraga. Love the videos, I look forward to them every time I see a new one. If you’re ever near L’Anse I have a spot you should give a go! lol nvm I saw the spot I was talking about in the second half of the video. “Falls” bk makes a good parking spot
Why do you feel the need to burn a fishing spot? Don’t These surfing spots have been getting incredibly popular ever since his videos came out and people would comment where it was.

I grew up on the Great Lakes on the Ontario side off of Erie and superior is probably the only lake I have never fished or any of its rivers all of Huron all of Erie Ontario, and Michigan actually is another lake. I’ve never actually fished. I’d love to do Big, I’m back home in Lake Ontario. Some of the best fishing and monsters always has been.
Would you ever do a "how to" surf fish video? location selection, conditions, bait... etc? I live along the north shore of lake superior and don't ever see people doing it
Kyle/Oliver 2024!!!
My son caught his first salmon at that spot in the bay only a few miles from my house nice to see you up in this area
If you put a small wire rack in the bottom of your dutch oven your bread might not burn on the bottom . Great videos keep up the good work .
So cool this is in my backyard! Baraga/lanse/skanee

Try searing the seasoned meat and add liquid and simmer for an hour. THEN add the veggies. You'll end up with tender meat and not overcooked veggies

What rod is the best for beach fishing coho/stealhead ? Brand , line weight , power, length, and lure weight Thanks ! We love your videos!
Idky but I wanna go fishing with you soo bad 🤣😂🤣
A secret we learned is when making bread throw some rice at the bottom of the pan and it’ll cook to an even golden brown!
Is that a new Tacoma??
Can you use a double hook bead setup using 2/0 gamagatsu hook? On the manistee river?
Would you ever do a "how to" surf fish video? location selection, conditions, bait... etc? I live along the north shore of lake superior and don't ever see people doing it
How do you like the Guide Gear stove? What specific model?
what hot tent and wood stove do you use?
Cann and pressure cook your venison! Your doing it all wrong 😂
Where did you get the tent? I want to buy one.
New truck?
Full can of tomato paste in addition to a 28oz can of crushed tomatoes is the secret.
I need to learn how to surf fish
What state is this
Great Lakes State
Michigan U.P.
Buddy hearing protection please! You will damage your hearing running a saw without it
does anyone know where abouts he fishing at? I'd love to take a trip up there.
Looks like the Kewenaw Bay greater area.
I saw y’all at the river when u were there and didn’t come up bc I didn’t recognize the truck.. shouldn’t taken oli as the true sign.
you need a permit to cut wood from the forest in michigan.
Kyle might know a landowner. I cut fallen trees for free.
Buy GM next time
Why Toyota? You know there are better trucks out there. i know I am a Ford slappy but I would settle for Chevy or Ram.
