If you put a small wire rack in the bottom of your dutch oven your bread might not burn on the bottom . Great videos keep up the good work .

That spot that drops off to 100 plus feet right by the shore looked amazing! You definitely should go back to see if you could ever land burbot from there. Amazing video as always. You're kinda nuts for braving some of those brutal elements. A pit stop to Burger King sounded like a life saving option.

Surf fishing up there sure is different than surf fishing down here on the coast of North Carolina. Still enjoy the heck outta your style too.

    Dude, you’re living the dream!
Shared this video(and others) with some friends who are for diehard hunters and fisherman up here in Quebec, and gotta say we’re envious!
Drifting while cooking bacon, with a chromer jumping off the front.
Dang… it just don’t get better!

I remember visiting my grandparents in Michigan upper peninsula in rexton and we would go cut wood and all the small branches that had leaf on it when we left. Would come back the next day to get more and the leaf that was on what we fell would all be gone. The deer were probably waiting on the perimeter to gorge themselves because most of the leaf would be gone.

Actually, if you can get old is what you want because Oak burns the hottest the longest cedar good but it’s too fast like pine birch is all right but again too fast. If you can find an oak tree, it burns extremely hot for a long time. That’s why they like it Smoker so much.

Any idea why splake have a size limit ?
They are hatchery made cross between a brook and lake trout and do not reproduce.
One would think there only purpose would be to be stocked caught and eaten.
Also i believe they are not a long lived species five to seven years maybe?
Also have you seen the remote controlled toy boats being used to run lines out from shore
instead of wading out and casting?
Might be an option for some of the areas you cant reach
    As always great show
    And tight lines

Try searing the seasoned meat and add liquid and simmer for an hour. THEN add the veggies. You'll end up with tender meat and not overcooked veggies

Why do you feel the need to burn a fishing spot? Don’t These surfing spots have been getting incredibly popular ever since his videos came out and people would comment where it was.

If you can find an oak tree, it burns extremely hot for a long time. That’s why they like it Smoker so much. you know it’s funny. I grew up on the Great Lakes on the Ontario side off of Erie and superior is probably the only lake I have never fished or any of its rivers all of Huron all of Erie Ontario, and Michigan actually is another lake. I’ve never actually fished. I’d love to do Big, I’m back home in Lake Ontario. Some of the best fishing and monsters always has been.
