Buddy I turn off every ice fishing video except yours because I know your gonna bring the energy and the food! You did not disappoint! Keep them videos coming! Thanks again
Kyle, scale the area around the walleye wings, leave the skin on, when done cooking and it's cooled off bite down to the cartilage and slide the meat off with your teeth leaving the "wings" and the cartilage there.... Fantastic !!
What I like about this channel, you keep your locations SECRET!!! Sure the spots are public but, go find spots YOURSELVES!!!!! I loathe "hole thieves" especially braggarts who you show them a sweet brookie pond or, grouse spot then the braggarts tell everyone and then your beaver pond is cleaned out.
@@AdventureChasing yessir! Love getting into the back country of Ontario fishing! Even though I live in the central U.P. a few miles from Rapid River Knifeworks, I long for rugged terrain and hard won fishing adventures.
He is a full time guide. He releases as much as he can!!! As a long time viewer I recommend appreciating what he gives us!!!🙂 but I definitely agree!!!
Steve's quiet humility is appealing and easy to watch instead of the artificial Ra-Ra hyper sensationalizing of the moment, the "oh yeah baby, woo-hoo" (not entertaining). Everything (how to's and info) in between is great. Energy is great when its real.
Great video! Recently I saw on “Wardens” a DNR officer giving an ice fisherman the business about having filleted fish in possession on the ice because they could not tell how big they were. I wonder about you cooking the fish on the ice and whether the DNR would hassle you?? The cooked fish can’t be measured. Per the MI fishing guide you can’t possess on any water (per the Warden ice is considered water)any fish that is so mutilated that it can’t be identified or measured. 13:00
Looks like a great adventure. I have tried walleye wings and I feel they taste the same as any other part of the walleye. All walleye is great. Not sure why people feel the wings are the best part?
I would rather eat the smaller fish particularly with trout... the larger the trout the fishier it gets...lakers I won't even touch...Walleye seems the same too, the larger they get the fishier tasting...
Kyle, man! Every one of your episodes makes me smile and laugh from start to finish! Thank you so much for what you bring to us all!
I am glad to hear that. Thanks for watching!
Amazing video!!!
I can’t get enough of these videos! Absolutely amazing.
That's crazy how it was so much thicker as you got out deeper. Thanks for explaining why the lake forms ice like that.
You never disappoint! Excellent job! 😀

lol. There is nothing fake about my excitement. Sorry you feel it’s fake.
They stock Splake on my home lake here in Oakland County. Maceday Lake in Waterford. Sweet describes it perfectly.

I don’t trust anyone that cooks fish with the bones in. 😂😂😂
What type of fish?
Probably shouldn't bring blues for bait to our u.p. lakes? Unless your told otherwise
Bought them in the UP
