i also hot glue all my receivers down. never had any issues, i have had double sided tape fail before. the reason it works good with fc's is because they get warm and it reacts to the glue on the tape, and keeps it holding.
Get a tube of white silicon latex tub tile caulking same thing horizon uses for firewalls servos and recievers it’s like rubber never hardens and it works great
So your receiver came loose, and then the receiver accelerometer's up down left and right weren't jiving with the plane itself, yikes. Some 3M body molding tape holds down the FC's in my fixed-wings, works like a charm. Never had one come loose after a metric gazillion flights, and it works as a great heat insulator for the foam, too. Sorry about the plane my dude.
@@GhostRyderFPV I’ve got to replace a servo and it’ll be ready to fly again. I’ve always used hot glue, but I tried to use double-sided tape and it just didn’t work. I should’ve checked and rechecked that it was actually sticking, but I failed to do that.
@@JetGuyProductions My FC's tend to run a little hot, with the regulators powering servos, cameras, and video transmitters, so I am kind of adverse to hot glue, but with your Safe receiver I don't see it being an issue. Make sure a lil isopropyl goes on first in either case. The red 3m tape works so well for me, that I will use it to hold the lid down on my coffin lmao
@@GhostRyderFPV i’m not 100% ready to give up using double sided tape. I definitely like the idea in the convenience. Cleaning the surfaces with alcohol is definitely a good idea that I think I’ll try next time. Thanks for the tip.
@@JohnSolimanMBA i’ve never had a receiver come out of a E flight plane either. At least one that they put in. The fuselage on the EC 1500 was new so the receiver I put in myself using double sided tape. Like I said, unfortunately this double sided tape failed because I didn’t do a good job taping it in. I usually always use hot glue and I’ve never had a problem, but I tried something different. as far as the theme music goes it cost me an arm and leg to get it so I like to use it whenever I can. You do have a good point though I shouldn’t play it throughout the whole video. I’m new to making videos so I’m learning as I go, thanks for the tip.

I've never had a spektrum receiver come loose and I've probably 50 of their planes and also the music ruined the video.
