“Im not a professional artist” ......proceeds to create a world class, professional, fine art display base we’re all jealous of! OK buddy! We’re on to ya! Love your magnificent work and can’t wait for your next build and video! That F-15 is gorgeous!
That’s a fine looking F15, very subtle weathering to finish it off just right but many thanks for posting the base video, the contrast between the flag colours and the grey aircraft really set it off and seeing how you highlighted the creases in the flag made it jump, right out, I don’t have a criket so I suppose I could trace and hand cut the masks, thanks again for taking the time to explain, cheers Mick.
Man, what a fantastic job! The way you add depth to the flag, and the total outcome of the model are fabulous. You are a humble guy, but you are an artist! I have learnt so much by watching your video’s. Very inspiring. I’ve just finished a model of the sr71 and used your tips on how to get a more real looking black. And it worked out great! So thanks again and i’m looking foreward to the next episodes!! Best regards Norman
Fantastic build buddy! Long time, no see. The base is a favorite subject of mine...'Merica! I really like how you painted the jet. That gunship grey on the "beagle" (Bomber EAGLE) fades in unusual patterns and you captured that really well. The radome being a different color is perfect too. The winning bidder will be getting a great model!
That base....👌🤙....I love your attitude to what you do, you always seem a little bit surprised that you produce such outstanding work, it’s a refreshing change from people showing off....you should be happy with this...it’s a truly beautiful piece....
Hi Sean, unbelievable, what a fantastic masterpiece. You know I have that special edition academy F15, can't think of the name of hand, it's named after the carrier it flew from I think and I have the tamiya kit both are 1/48th flavour. I keep thinking I want to do one. I have always fancied doing the tope tens of things like top ten of armour from wwii, armour in the modern day, wwii wingy things, modern day top ten wingy thing. I just think that would be a pretty cool project. Mate have you ever built one of the aforementioned F-15s
The top ten thing sounds cool. I’m sitting here looking at a few ww1 tanks I’ve got in my stash, maybe I’ll build one of those next. I haven’t built the F-15 kits you mentioned. I did build the one from GWH and it was pretty good from what I remember.
Looks great! You may have mentioned this but where do you find those clear display stands? I’m looking to get some for my upcoming 1/32 B-24D build. Also those little magnets you use for bombs... Thanks my friend. Keep up the good work!
I've got this kit in my stash and I'm planning on possibly building it next. I know the main fuselage color is FS36118. From what I've gathered, its either equivalent to XF-24 Dark Grey. Or XF-24 combined with another color. Any info would be greatly appreciated. 😀

Wow. That is stunning.
Looks good. Base is awesome
Again great video.!
Love it! Might just have to bid on this. Thanks for your videos, much appreciated.
Great job. love the base. 👏👏👏
Great base, great F-15! "I'd buy that for a dollar".
Thanks Greg! Too late tho, it’s already bid up to $2.00. Lol
Amazing base and model 👏
Hi Sean.....I have never bought acrylic rods before. Do you recommend 1/4 or 1/2 inch? I have a 1/72 sr-71 that I want to mount on a display base.
1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 are what I’d recommend to get for larger planes. I’ve got a variety and like to use the smallest possible and still be stable.
I was just wondering what size acrylic rod did you use?
Keep up the great work!
It depends. Usually 1/4 inch for smaller planes and 1/2 inch for bigger ones
@@seanerk5kt9 Thanks so much
