Mike, thanks for the tutorial on pushing dirt over distance with a dozer, not just the explanation but also the demonstration, once a person sees it, it makes perfect sense. That little case dozer has some push power though, nice size for the midsize projects. Thanks for update, enjoyed watching.
Very impressive how You transform the land to meet the farmers needs. ThankYou for taking the time to bring us along and teach just what and why You are doing what You are doing. Semper Fi!!!
Great video Mike. Thanks for sharing and explaining in detail how you go about doing the work. The 850M is a awesome dozer. My be a keeper in the fleet!!
Darn Mike, I didn't think you'd be able to do that without Aaron telling you how. On another note, I really appreciate your teaching moments. How about doing some on the skid steer.
Good morning sunshine! So glad to see you posted a video this morning! Woke up really early & needed something good to watch! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
Nice work. It has been difficult to get contractors who are busy with big jobs to do these little maintenance jobs. Which why I own a tractor/loader/backhoe and a small dozer.
That’s good information about how to push 3x the dirt and explains a lot about what I have watched you do so many times! I appreciate it because I have hopes of buying a used piece of equipment or renting one and doing a project in the future. I have a spring fed creek that originates in a valley and I want to dam it off and make a pond. I have nothing but clay so it just needs moved around!🙏❤️
Mike, when I first started watching you. This is one of the things that I enjoyed the most. Was your tutorial or explanation of why you're doing certain things?Keep up the good work. Looking forward for much more
I always like to see restoring or reclaiming the Land prevention. Also might Look at why water level is where it's at. Down stream blocked = water reroute itself.
Love the job you do clearing the brush. How's about getting a big wood chipper to either recycle the brush back into the forest or haul away to make compost.
Always great to do a job with demo equipment that’s not costing you for the hours in maintenance. Normally those jobs are on your Honeydew list though. It’s certainly looking like the 850M is going to be a part of the DP fleet replacing the 2nd most disliked machine you have. Unfortunately you haven’t replaced the 304 yet but as we all know that it’s in Captain Kleeman’s stable now on the rent to own plan.
Good job Mike, I think it beats the construction business. The 850 has it pluses, seems to get the job done in tight places. And for all the use, it hasn't broken yet or had a def problem.
Hi Mike. Suggestion when working that little 850 alone and trying to talk at the same time, shut the doors to kill the engine noise. Could only just about hear you today.
It's tricky watching you as you are so good it seems easy. But, if you watch other channels you can see the difference in other operators that aren't so good but have been working many years . I often see other operators on the struggle bus, and I'm saying Mike doesn't do it like that , or Mike wouldn't have got stuck like that. You are a natural and probably don't even think much about what you're doing, it seems automatic for you.
Some farmers don't realize how much they loose by not maintaining their fields and keep them pushed back or trimmed. I worked for a farmer were he farmed 4500 acres. All I did was basins and keeping fields maintained and some tile work. You did a great job brother and you didn't need....well you know who to give you missdirection lol
I takes a lot of time if you have a lot of ground and is tough on equipment. Just trimming low limbs takes weeks at our place. We started renting an attachment to speed it up but still a chore. Hard to find the time and easy to ignore
@AW-yv9sq when my boss would pick up new fields after I would go around the sides push them back or clean them out we have actually picked up from one to five acres.
Broadcast red clover in the bare spot. For cover and deer feed.. it will hold for 2 or 3 years until stuff grows back.... carch sticks and silt and levee the creek up a little.
DP like always another improvement and a good video. Stay safe. I think the little 850 would be a good investment for your Fleet oh and also for Aaron the off-road truck.🤭👍🏻
Hey Mike !!! TOO bad that you did this job B/4 the 5 acre pond job as you could have used ALL the rock that you & Aaron dumped over the bank in that hole behind the barn !!! 👍👍👍👍👍
My question is if the land owner owns both sides of that ditch why not reroute the ditch down the side of the property then after the spring floods reclaim the land from the trees and ditch had taken before.
ag tractor woth dump trailer would do nicely for such low ecological impact projects tho with you on the controlls it allways looks like a very orderly kept open pit mine
I’m assuming you don’t need any special permitting to move that much soil, the home town I grew up in we could only move 300cu yard in a three year period. Don’t ask how I know that. When I removed the soil I put in it ended up to be 110 semi trucks of soil.
Must not be a Farmer Chris field otherwise he’d want you to be reclaiming all that farm land while fixing the drainage issue! Edit: looks like you created a nice secluded spot to make a food plot for deer there!

Thanks
👍
Thanks for taking the time on what should be your day off to explain to the majority of your people the finer points of your profession.
You're not solo today brother! We're with you!
Mike, thanks for the tutorial on pushing dirt over distance with a dozer, not just the explanation but also the demonstration, once a person sees it, it makes perfect sense. That little case dozer has some push power though, nice size for the midsize projects. Thanks for update, enjoyed watching.
Nice Solo Video. “Mister Behind the Scenes” plays a vital role, making the videos more comical and on the grounds!
Great job explaining this method! Makes sense. "Work smarter not harder" is a perfect illustration and application here.👍🏻
Thanks for the explanation of the "Trench Push".
Thanks for the lessons. Stay safe and warm. Have a great weekend.
Very impressive how You transform the land to meet the farmers needs. ThankYou for taking the time to bring us along and teach just what and why You are doing what You are doing. Semper Fi!!!
10-4 on pushing that dirt. Thanks for the local information!
Mike, you should have your sticker guy make some of your logos on a magnet. Then you could put it on some of the demo equipment and mess with people.
lol Case is doing a great job of getting you to fall in love with their equipment. Nice work Case!😉
Nice job on the repair. That Case 850 is going to have a home in your fleet. It will look good with a Dirt Perfect sticker on it.
I said it before and I’ll say it again. You sure know how to push some dirt Mike. You got it down to a science.
I'm glad you had the oversight to get a mental picture of where to go through and what to do because it was hard to see from camera! :)
I havent run a dozer in many years, but Ill never forget my dad teaching me how to slot doze on a JD450C.
Saturday,Hanging out with the Boss,Coffee on! We got this! ;-)!!
Your camera man today or your MBTS did an amazing job today and didn’t give you any grief. Lol
Awesome job, DP! Hopefully, that area won't open up again.
The little dozer came in real handy on this project. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
Looks much better. Will only know after some flooding if it works.
Great video Mike. Thanks for sharing and explaining in detail how you go about doing the work. The 850M is a awesome dozer. My be a keeper in the fleet!!
Case 850M Dozer is a powerful work horse to move materials. It surprises me every time you put to work on bigger jobs.
Nice end result Mike.
You do good work, no matter what Aaron says.
Nice job, Mike. That's a significant loss to the field and here's hoping it heals up. Thanks so much for sharing.
Darn Mike, I didn't think you'd be able to do that without Aaron telling you how.
On another note, I really appreciate your teaching moments. How about doing some on the skid steer.
Pretty work and great tutorial on your plan and seeing in come to fruition.
Looks great. You did a fantastic job there my friend. Enjoyed that alot. Thanks for the ride.
Awesome work Mike. 🙂👍🇮🇪
Mike great job as always.today is January 11th here in Sparta nc Allegheny county 26 degrees.we have 4 inches of snow.
Great job as always Mike. It looks fantastic. It never gets old watching on artist perfect his artwork.
The Case 850 to look little out, but is a strong Machine! Your Daywork great. The Video very Inform. Thanks.
I think you got the name for the 850M! Little Monster! Sounds right to me! Much love and respect from Henderson Ga USA
That dozer is mighty impressive. It has to feel amazing setting on that power❤❤
Thanks DP
Good explanation on the project and which way the water wants to flow. That field could use a few days of the "super saw." I forget the official name.
nice explanation on the trench pushing . nice work
New toys makes it a lot nicer and comfortable. Nice job.
nice one mike see you on the next one

What man behind the scenes wants to go on vacation again 😂
Great video Mike
That would make a good camp site.
Same thing I was thinking.
Huge difference Mike looks good.
Watching from the east coast of Canada (New Brunswick).....Nice job / Great video.....Hammer Down!
Good job Mike. You are a damn good dozer man

That dozer looks like fun to operate . Joel Reppe Clear Lake SD
The 850M is the little dozer that can hope changing the way water flows works 👍👋🇨🇦

Wow that was a lot of work you ....we got done lol time for me to take a nap...great video Thanks!
Great video Mike!👍
I always like to see restoring or reclaiming the Land prevention. Also might Look at why water level is where it's at. Down stream blocked = water reroute itself.
Used to do that exact same thing when I was operating a track loader ,because you can push more dirt than you can carry at one time 😊
Love the job you do clearing the brush. How's about getting a big wood chipper to either recycle the brush back into the forest or haul away to make compost.

that 850 case does its fair share of work i can see why you would like it
It's tricky watching you as you are so good it seems easy. But, if you watch other channels you can see the difference in other operators that aren't so good but have been working many years . Good Morning from Kansas City.
16 minutes in and it looks like a ripper job to me.😂
It's only fair.... if you decide to keep little 850 case, that MBTS gets to keep his haul truck! 😊
Seems like it's better than the Hyundai. Stay safe
12th comment… so glad to watch your video this morning. Keep them coming. Happy new year!
May have to line bank with rip rap later
Thanks for the video
The farmers here in Australia are told to have a treeline on their fields.
Looks good
Never thought he would get rid of the old 120
My question is if the land owner owns both sides of that ditch why not reroute the ditch down the side of the property then after the spring floods reclaim the land from the trees and ditch had taken before.
Dont you just love those vines
ag tractor woth dump trailer would do nicely for such low ecological impact projects
tho with you on the controlls it allways looks like a very orderly kept open pit mine
Do you have any snow coverage, we have a foot of snow already and I'm ready for 75° weather and I like watching your show 😊
Good morning

When do we get a 140 review and purchase decision.
It is all knowledge passed down.
Better to continue before it is lost
