2:09 Eh… those are the exception to the rule. Sure, you’ll get the occasional outlier from time to time. Like, there are people who smoke all their lives and never get cancer or some form of lung disease, but that doesn’t mean that you should be 50/50 on whether smoking will kill, it’s just a matter of time. This year will mark 30 years of rising (although the last 5 years have been on track only). I had 2 crashes on the road (as in, not counting riding at the track) and they both occurred *after* I had been riding for over 20 years. They were both due to drivers being distracted and hitting me. Sucks, but that’s the just way it is when you ride for long enough. I rode very aggressively on ACH, GMR, Ortega Hwy, Palomar… you name it, and never had a crash up there. Both my wrecks were just heading home from a canyon ride and people in cars just hit me because they weren’t paying attention. Stay safe out there.
