    I watch this show for a couple reasons. One reason is I feel like a better hunter after watching Justin's hunts, and less of a dork when I watch Todd. Just kidding guys. Your show is awesome and the fact that you keep it real is probably why it is so successful. Keep up the awesome work.

    You will not regret a blue heeler. Heelers are so smart that you should never allow them to do something " just this one time". They will never forget it.

    You guys are awesome! I love all these hunts. I hunt with a recurve and was wondering if you would possibly make a couple videos with a recurve or longow to change it up instead of a compound (don't get me wrong i love compounds) but its just an Idea.

    Paul, lol! I had a Bull chase me at a Feed store that had 60 acres. I couldn't believe it was happening then I stopped and said " knock it off"! Lol. Then, to my amazement we were fine. Lol

    Tyler Rector shots slammers every year. Guy has a sweet setup. In his first hunt he's using those tinks little orange canisters. What does he have in them?

    I've been trying something different with my decoy. I'll put him up in the brush so they can see, but not real well. The horns and face are visible from a distance, but it keeps them from getting a real good look. It also gives the idea that a doe is being tended. I haven't had one bristle up on him yet, but they do come in closer and stay a little longer trying to figure out exactly what is going on.

  • @2bonosc
    @2bonosc 8 років тому

    Never have a decoy face your tree stand . He ( the aggressive buck) will try to get behind the decoy ( on your side) and never look at you... Hopefully :)

    Give thanks to God that he got in that error when it bounced back out I just limit themicals are scary I know it's about shot wastement but I don't see no fix blade bouncing off no grim and popping back out pop it back out It's not trying to be negative but that was a hell of a shot and then for that arrow to bounce back out of that deer for that year

    I have been trying to shoot a mature buck with my bow for my first deer. last year was my first year and I feel short. so over the off season I practices shooting at all angles on a 3d target. going into the early season I had a nice 120inch buck coming by a stand in daylight. I sat in the stand opening morning and I missed him. I had not seen him until this day. late now and muzzleloader came by in new York and I was able to stay by a foodplot and saw Mr. 120 again this time it was a different outcome no miss this time

    What county in Illinois does Tyler hunt?

  • @christiandarush6710
    @christiandarush6710 4 роки тому

    Cwd season is antlerless only in illinois so I’m sure he will make it threw that weekend

    • @bowhuntordie
      @bowhuntordie  4 роки тому

      The state actually splits all the counties up as either a "CWD Season" or an "Antlerless Only" season. So in the counties where CWD was more prevalent, the late gun-seasons are actually an either sex season if you have a left over either sex tag from a previous gun season. Otherwise you can purchase a $5 antlerless tag.

    I'd rather see an ethical shot that goes bad, than an unethical shot that goes good. I've been seeing lots of guys the past few years, not just here, taking long distance shots that they have no business taking on a live animal. Group size at 52 yards is irrelevant when a deer moves 12-18" from the time the arrow is released to the time of impact.
