There actually are mentions of why the scorn and taken have stasis, it's because those now being controlled by powerful Darkness entities (Xivu, the Witness itself, Rhulk) were given those abilities. Admittedly this was mostly communicated through throwaway voice lines and less direct implications over the course of year 4, but there is still a reason for it.
@dylanholm9995 It's really not pointless. It would give us the final 3rd subclass elements. Prismatic is supposed to be the guardians being able to use both darkness and light at the same time. But there is no balance with 3 light subclass elements and 2 darkness subclass elements, so we'd need a 3rd darkness subclass. And it would have to be red or yellow.
I logged in, went straight legendary 0 hour and forgot to get the quest. Picked up the quest and did it again and realized I didn't do the siva clusters. I did legendary 3 times this week😅
I've tested it, if you land all of 42 shots, and so on... You should get a total of 144 shots!! I hope that somebody can relay (btw with 45rpm should do like 105 shots)
If you want a really fun build for Outbreak, pair it with Void and Chromatic Fire. Crit kills with chromatic equipped give an elemental explosion. For void, its weaken/suppress. This means that your nanites do more damage as the enemies have less health
It’s just Weaken for Void. Arc is good too cause the blind effect will make enemies stand in place and let you hit crits to make more nanites. Not to mention Electrostatic Mind giving you Ionic Traces off kills on arc debuffed (blinded) enemies
Very nice. I went past the second switch in excitement and couldn’t get back up. There’s not enough room to stand when you jump up cause it’s a ducking-tunnel. Tried grappling with and without eager edge and nothing worked
There's certain raids and exotic missions where I'm like "yeah..I'm not even gonna try to do this..." Crota, Pantheon, and this new Zero Hour are some of em for me...I still have PTSD from completing the original Zero Hour with the catalyst... Props to all yall that can get it done 😁
You should definitely give them a go - we were a lot weaker when the previous Zero Hour came out, but not just that, the weapons/exotics are very good. And with the way Bungie treats content, you'll regret not getting them should they vault anymore stuff.

I finished normal solo and I am the WORST! Did the Hall of Champions puzzle and was like why not try the boss fight? Got em with 2 minutes to spare...Phoenix Wellock + Polaris Lance. I keep a few energy weapons handy for the first set of rooms which are void then arc shields. Graviton then Trinity then Polaris for the rest, Eager Edge in heavy until switching to Apex for the banner. Hang back in boss room and stun lock with polaris through damage phases. Once Brig drops, clear all ads and move to mid center between boxes and drop well. Timer keeps going unless EVERYTHING is killed so might as well get them first. Another tip for the legend outside platforming section...jumps till you get to the corner then Heat rises and Eager Edge swings. This mission kicks ass and is rewarding to practice. The Legend version is tight so don't be surprised if your FT has to make multiple runs. Oh and Mountaintop in kinetic of course. ;)
I got around that reload by going for Aeon swift, on your mark, and if I remember correctly alloy mag (the one that increases reload when out of ammo). The only downside is that mag size feels low. So if you prefer a bigger mag you can still get by with the other things

dont worry about it, as long as you have some decent add clear weapons and you can follow a map, you'll be fine. even if you cant do it solo, there are SO many people on all the different LFG platforms right now that, worst case, you get a free carry by two different solos that just needed an extra meat shield. i just watched a couple tutorials, and even my dumb *ss managed to make it with some help from LFG.

With the lack of self damage and the addition of rewind rounds outbreak is probably better. Especially since it’ll be doing 9% more damage to bosses in the final shape while touch will be doing 9% less
Final Warning. Don't forget Final Warning. It's in there among the top 3 highest DPS primaries in the game. Not sure if it's number 1 anymore but I believe it was beating out Touch of Malice.
Excluding Lucky Pants loadouts, Final Warning is still currently the highest dps primary. It does have less range than Outbreak Perfected and Touch of Malice, though, which is a factor to consider.

For PvE and Controller, I think Smallbore and Steady Rounds and Rapid Hit and Fitted Stock are best! Nonetheless,.you can craft one with Rapid Hit and another with Rewind Rounds, so you can use generally the former with Rapid Hit and change for the latter when Boss damage. Simple that!
Rewind rounds works as intended, on supremacy with kinetic trimmers (if u dont spam your shots) you can reaload 100% of the mag because trimmers count as additional damage, so does the nanites

@AppleGuy256 did you even watch the video? Noone is denying that rapid hit is a good trait but rewind is a catch all in pve because of how the perk process uniquely with outbreak. Noone can give you shit for liking rapid hit more because it's your weapon, craft it how you want but to say rapid hit is better is just statistically wrong. It might FEEL better with that higher stability and faster reloads but less time having to reload = more dps that's why perks like envious assassin and rewind have been getting so much love over the past few seasons
Rewind rounds probably doesn't have a true cap. The usual "cap" is typically limited to number of bullets in the current magazine but only because all other guns with rewind rounds solely deal their bullet damage through the bullets themselves. In this case 45 of them. But this is the first pulse rifle with rewind rounds that can hit the target more times than bullets it has in a magazine. Therefore you're actually doing something like 55/45. It then grants you 33 bullets back based on hit landed. Not necessarily just the bullets from the magazine but hits connected before the gun would force you to reload. So not really a unique version of the perk but a unique way that outbreak is able to utilize the perk.
You can get back up from the 2nd switch but its pretty annoying, if you jump up into the vent area you can place stasis crystals at your feet to stand in the vent and if you then place more crystals down on top of you it allows you to crouch jump up back into the vent, either that or when you go down there make sure to keep jumping if you fail it, you have to immediately jump off the ground once you hit it, if you stay on the ground for more than like half a second it will set your spawn point and then you are screwed.

Finally a primary weapon can be your primary damage in a build, but it doesn't synergize with anything but chromatic. I'm big on synergy! Weapons by themselves without synergy gets boring.
If you're rolling rewind rounds, couldn't you also go with alloy magazine? Granted, you'll be reloading more often compared to extended mag or tactical, but it would be fast enough to where you don't really need to worry about a reload perk or mod. At least I think

Uhm just use appended mag… taking -25 reload speed for one more salvo sounds… So yea just choose appended mag and you’ll still have 45 reload speed which is quite slow but not as slow as 20
It's the same wwr for others, no special version for outbreak. Take transfiguration for example: RWR+ EP. You shoot 15 rounds and hit 30 times (game counts EP for x2 hits.) 60% of 30 is 18. Full mag refund.
Aztecross for the damage its going to do more than that at least to red bars. Its going to be doing roughly 28% more damage to red bars rather than the 24-25% you showed. You only gave it ~25% extra damage (4777x1.25=5971). RIght now its: 1 x 1.4 = 1.4 x damage After its: 1 x 1.38 x 1.3 = 1.794 damage So 1.794 / 1.4 = 1.2814 (i.e. 28% more damage than its doing right now) So the damage numbers should be 4777 x ~1.28 = 6114
This is the best hands down the only thing that could have possibly have been better is kinetic tremors and i still think this is better. Chef's kiss bungie!

I honestly got lucky af doing the input in the ship area, i did it jn an LFG and they were moving on so I knew I didnt have much time before I had to keep going, so I just shot the ones I saw in order 😂 didnt even have time to look for the hologram and got it first try so I'm not getting another exotic drop for a month💀
This mission would be so much better without a timer, just let us explore all of these cool areas and secrets. The way it is everyone just looks for a guide rather than trying it for themselves.

EVEN WITHOUT perks outbreak is a fucking GOD inside of pve. The perks just add some stability so you can hit crit shots more often than not

Flip the bridge switch before you do the run for the 2nd switch set. Makes it much easier. No need to jump along the walls and possibly fall.

RIght now its: 1 x 1.4 = 1.4 x damage
After its: 1 x 1.38 x 1.3 = 1.794 damage
So 1.794 / 1.4 = 1.2814 (i.e. 28% more damage than its doing right now)
So the damage numbers should be 4777 x ~1.28 = 6114
This is the best hands down the only thing that could have possibly have been better is kinetic tremors and i still think this is better. Chef's kiss bungie!

You talked about the 20% damage increase in final shape but you forgot to tell people who dont follow twab, that there is also a 15% nerf against boss for kinetic weapon in final shape

I cannot give up rapid hit for general play. I’ll make a second one just for boss dps but anything that’s like a normal raid or lower, I gotta use rapid hit

I honestly got lucky af doing the input in the ship area, i did it jn an LFG and they were moving on so I knew I didnt have much time before I had to keep going, so I just shot the ones I saw in order 😂 didnt even have time to look for the hologram and got it first try so I'm not getting another exotic drop for a month💀

It's probably 66% cause it's a three round burst. So unique to pulse rifles rather than just outbreak.

This mission would be so much better without a timer, just let us explore all of these cool areas and secrets. The way it is everyone just looks for a guide rather than trying it for themselves.
I'm glad we at least have the 40-minute normal mode, but I agree that timers suck.

Don't align yourself facing the back wall like cross said, you look at the diagram and do the pattern based on that, how cross said it rotates all the buttons in a way that doesn't work.
