I love that they effectively added an active skill to him. The guaranteed crit and 59% attack is essentially an active skill especially with it having similar restrictions to many active skills and being a one turn buff
I think he is a great eza and a very fun one. I really like how you have a reason not to just spam his ultra super attack unlike with other lr's which makes him more fun to use. He is great and the only thing he lacks is a good looking super attack animation which isn't that big of a deal considering his ultra super attack is easily the best animation from the year he released.
Best part about this character is his KO screen just standing there highlighting that obliterated health bar. Absolutely love this guys design, something I’ve theorized about for a long time coming. Dokkan delivered 💪
My only complaint is if they didn't give the new SSJ3 Goku the KO screen then give this EZA TEQ Goku and updated super attack animation. They updated LR INT SSJ2 Gohan and Majin Vegeta

I still think ill go 15 dodge HiPo and then smash some amalgamation of crits and AA with equips. Like you said I dont think theres a wrong way to build him. just a strong character overall.

Overall one of the best EZA’s I’ve seen. He doesn’t have many flaws until he does 18k super and even then he gets DR back on his next turn. He does require a playstyle in which you want to use him like INT Namek Goku, where you want to just build him up with 12ki supers as his passive gives him 6 extra ki max with the more supers he does. Overall a def runnable character in hard events for sure, wished I had him at 100 percent on hidden potential but 90 will do.
i like that this guy has the spirit of the 2017 character orginally. He feels exactly like he did in 2017 tanking everything pre super then oneshotting every boss
I think Crit is the most important thing to give him atm, Just look at the damage you deal with the dragon fist without a crit and then just imagine doubling it with a crit, You are losing MILLIONS of damage without a crit. It's also the most consistent ability to give him as well.
I'd like to see a support memory of Ginyu's Holstein Shock where he injures himself before the body change. Effect would be as follows: lowers HP to 50% of MAX and -15% atk for 1 turn, Delays all enemies by 1 turn, seals super attack for 2 turns
If he has 268k (he had this when he had bulma and gohan/piccolo's support up) defense on the turn, he gets up to 766k defense, and potentially with 50% damage reduction. Pretty damn good!
I have actually been putting this guy slot 1 at 55%, and he tends to do better than a lot of other units on my team funnily enough even before super just because of the 50% dr. turn 1 for a lot of units is really scary, this being why I have tested putting teq lr ss3 goku slot 1, obviously if he got supered before he supered, he was toast, but otherwise he did better than the other units on my rotation would have turn 1. He's like a light fallback if you get a horrid rotation, he takes dmg, but if he isnt supered until after super, he's fine, so long as its not 50 normals before he supers.
he's gotta be the best LR EZA, with the fact he's so good and that he's a saiyan, he will be usable in so many more situations than the others, ofc AOE's blow him up, but he can live them, and post super he is insanely tanky, not even to mention the free 30 mils

He don't need that 23 dodge. Maybe reduce to 10 or 15. And increase his chance to crit or do additional a little bit and he'll be a monster. I got mine built as 12 add, 17 crit, 0 dodge, 10 attack up, def up 15, Super attack 23, recovery 10. I used my equip to help raise his super attack and his attack stat. My Goku has 24060 attack. He gon hit pretty hard.

The problem with building him full dodge is that yes you are getting more potential on the defensive side of the fight but your losing alot in terms of how much damage you can do. He could clear fights stupid fast on any team that he is on.

I personally do have alot of very good rainbow units that are on the teams he is on and my goku is rainbowed so that's why I felt the dodge was unnecessary. Put dodge in him if your account is struggling on certain fights. If your account goes through basically all content with next to no issues dodge ain't necessary.

Fr, only units like LB Vegito, SSJ Trio and majunior get the pass, and that’s probably mostly because they have viable defense too. I want to see Dokkan make a mostly offense focused event where you get hit with weak normals until you get to an insta kill super you can’t dodge or defend after a few turns. Really bring back the “good defense? Check this shit out (1 turns the boss)” feeling, while utterly destroying longevity of the AGL Blues oops.

Him having 0 additional chance is what I wanted, make him a hard hitter but just 1 big gigantic hit that feels like an active skill and not a super, instead of many 10 million or something like that, I still would like to know what his HiPo would be as he isn't the case of a character that can work with anything as he has everything covered (like a MUI goku would be), but the opposite, of a character that is good with non of the HiPo abilities and all 3 would be great in different parts of his kit, additional to stack the attack (and maybe do stupid damage as he can proc the Ultra super attack atk buff and then share it in the additional), crits for more satisfaction and nuking, and dodge for playing safe.

i have 10 add 8 crit 25 dodge,not changing that anytime soon,that 25 dodge saved me a lot of damage in all my runs with him and some super`s

Fr, only units like LB Vegito, SSJ Trio and majunior get the pass, and that’s probably mostly because they have viable defense too. I want to see Dokkan make a mostly offense focused event where you get hit with weak normals until you get to an insta kill super you can’t dodge or defend after a few turns. Really bring back the “good defense? Check this shit out (1 turns the boss)” feeling, while utterly destroying longevity of the AGL Blues oops.
Um, because he can hit as hard as he wants, that wont save him from the 1.5 mil supers😂. The damage is cool and all but if you die before the damage can even matter then it isnt all that

Ive had this dude rainbow'd for AGES and i built him all crit, i was so pissed when the details dropped but that damage tho, not regretting it as much...
Him having 0 additional chance is what I wanted, make him a hard hitter but just 1 big gigantic hit that feels like an active skill and not a super, instead of many 10 million or something like that, I still would like to know what his HiPo would be as he isn't the case of a character that can work with anything as he has everything covered (like a MUI goku would be), but the opposite, of a character that is good with non of the HiPo abilities and all 3 would be great in different parts of his kit, additional to stack the attack (and maybe do stupid damage as he can proc the Ultra super attack atk buff and then share it in the additional), crits for more satisfaction and nuking, and dodge for playing safe.

Went with 30 crit and would like to get the rest on dodge but i previously had the extra points on AA, im on global just preparing him and he has a 24k attack stat its crazyy
He looks great, glad Dokkan made his ki issues into a strength with the atk stacking. I've always disliked SSJ3 characters in the game because of Over In A Flash and Limit Breaking Form, hate those links but he's given me hope 😤

Honestly I think Crit, Add or dodge all work great on him.
If he dies, he dies. Offensive build would have merits if he can finish the enemy quick like SSJ Trio.
Also he is anti-AOE.

this guy + int mv as a rotation? Might be decent to look into, the only thing is in the two hardest fights omega and zamasu that wouldnt work but, a lot of the other RZ's it would. Just a fun idea really more than anything, I like using old units.
