Very nicely done! I hope to one day see the Colosseum in person. My parents went to Rome last year and said it was incredible.

There's is nothing so incredible, so magnificent as ancient Roman architecture in breadth and scope. And I don't believe there ever will be again.

Amazing reconstruction! We can only imagine how an ancient structure looked like back then. However, the virtual reconstructions help so much more in getting a clear understanding of these magnificent buildings. Thank you. I’ll show the video to my 90-year old mom. She loves Roman history and architecture. Greetings from west Texas 🌞🌵🌻

The Romans were truly amazing engineers and builders every thing they did 2000 years ago we mimic today they were the true builders of the future an amazing race destroyed by power and greed, just like the world today.??

The original name was the Flavian Amphitheater , when Emperor Nero’s downfall he had a colossal statue of himself 120 feet in height at his palace, that statue was transported by 24 Elephants and taking in front of the Flavian Amphitheater , the statue was called the Colossal of Nero ,
because of the Colossal statue of Nero the name became the Colosseum.

Restore the Colosseum(or even old monument) is not possible, because in this way the monument would lost his authencity, it would never been the same, and anyhow we don't know exactly his old aspect.

I was just there 2 weeks ago, been wanting to go since I was a kid. I'm 61 now and it was a thrill of a lifetime. I'll never forget it. The Colosseum, The Circus Maximus and The Forum (Palintine Hill) all in one day, I was speechless.

I am floored, :o amazing, the Coliseum never looked so beautiful until now. I would have loved to have seen in it's glory. This is how an NFL Stadium should be built. I would love to see an NFL Team in a stadium that resembles the Coliseum.

When Jack Kent Cooke had The Forum built in Los Angeles (in the mid-1960s) for the Lakers and Kings, he had the exterior dimensions patterned exactly after the Colosseum's in Rome.

Thank you for showing me this wonderful piece of history! Also everyone will be interested in knowing as of recently, an Italian businessman has donated enough money to completely reconstruct/restore 100% of the Roman Colosseum! Officials said the work is expected to take two and a half years!!

I think your doubtfulness is wrong because the Colosseum still remains bigger then any football stadiums today,
The Colosseum was huge. It could seat 50,000 people. It covers around 6 acres of land and is 620 feet long, 512 feet wide, and 158 feet tall. It took more than 1.1 million tons of concrete, stone, and bricks to complete the Colosseum , yes I think it’s big enough.
