Our 38 year old daughter had a massive stroke on 7/7/20, she had half her skull removed the next day. She is paralyzed on her left side. She had her skull replaced on 9/30/20. She will be able to do more therapy now, because she doesn't have to wear a helmet and not worry about her head. I'd carry her home in a heart beat if I could lift her and take care of her! Thank you Trisha for this beautiful song!

I love how this song has a double meaning. Not only does Jesus carry us through the storm and eventually home, but He also gives us special people in our lives whose powerful love helps to carry us. He loves us that much. What an awesome God we have!!!

God called another family member home this year. Last night she went to bed with dementia. But woke up in the arms of the Son healed and whole. He sent his angels to rescue her soul from her prison. Fly. What a sight!
My wife has had cancer and been on cancer meds, but now she can hardly walk and is losing her hair and crying and depressed! Please pray for her because I believe in prayers!

Thank you Trisha. I lost my grandmother yesterday and today this song was recommended to me. It’s like I was meant to hear it. She was 84 years young. She had been sick for a long time and she was tired of living that way. The last time I saw her, she asked why God wouldn’t let her go home. I told her, when it’s your time, he will come for you. Yesterday was that day, He carried her home. She is where she longed to be. So rest easy now my hummingbird, I’ll see you when I get there. ✝️💞

This is the most beautiful song I've heard in my life. I lost my soulmate 26 months ago to brain cancer. He fought such a fight he was only 53 all he wanted to do is live. He got to where he couldn't walk without help, couldn't hardly talk or get his words out. Me and his family were there till he took his last breath. He was such a special man I just can't move on. I've listened to this song 100 times today.

This song is so beautiful! Truly hits my heart. My mom had a stroke on 12/4/20 and came to be with me. I took care of her with the help of sister's. Mom then had another stroke 1/16/21(my youngest daughter's birthday) and that one continually was causing damage to her brain she couldn't come back from. She stayed with me in my home, comfortable and cared for in the best possible way. She passed away 2/4/21 and myself and my sisters are still trying to find our way through this life without her. 💔 We couldn't have had a better mom. She told us how proud she was and how much she loved us all the time. So thank you for this song because I'd move heaven and earth to do anything for my momma and I truly did until her last day with us. 😢💔

My mom had a stroke recently and I prayed everyday to God to let me take her to my home. She recovered her right side 🙏 when the docs said that wasn't possible. I looked at the doc and said God has the final word. Remember that! 🙏 ❤👼

Just beautiful soulful/gospel/country sound. I'm also a teacher at a small school...we've got Covid in the building and I hope we don't shut down and have to "carry home" any of the community. Hoping the schools stay open and we can get some normal going again.
I did carried my Mom home. I watched and held her when she took her last breath. Giving her back to God was so hard. I miss her everyday!

Where did you get the idea that your mother went home to God? You DO NOT know that. That's your wishful thinking out of your bias because she was your mother. No one has lift a perfect life, and sins don't go unpunished. She had to answer for hers as we all will. No one is guaranteed a place in Heaven. No such guarantee exists. @@tonyagreathouse3077 Nobody can replace Parents. I lost my father in 2003 and my mom in 2019. I was speechless both times. Took almost 3 months, before I talked to anybody. Parents are the absolute joy in our lives. Guess, it was the shock.
I just had to say goodbye to my Mommy on Feb. 5. I feel like I had to help her let go of this world and move on to the next. When it’s my time, I pray she is there to carry me home.

June 2015 my Daddy passed after multiple strokes that took his ability to speak, eat or swallow. This song reminds me so much of his 8 year struggle to carry on after his social abilities were taken away. I heard this for the 1st time about 5 months ago & listened to it until I learned every word. I sent this to my husband, my daughter, other family & my very dearest friends. Hell maybe even the world for it is on my FB for all to hear. I want them all to know I will carry them home through hell & back. This song speaks to my heart & soul & of who I am. Only 2 of the many I sent it to reached out & said it was beautiful & how much they loved me for being there for them. It saddened me that my husband & daughter were not the 2! My grandson graduated college on Dec. & already had a job so he has moved to my home state of Illinois maybe 10 miles from where I spent 8 years of being raised, he never knew any of that. He stopped by to see us before he left I sat him down & had him listen to it, he listened closely & the last words 'I'll Carry You Home' I sang to him with tears in my eyes for I shall miss him more than words could ever be spoken except in this song. He is the most beautiful loving person in my world, he knows this for I had his back before he was born & my only grandchild. I told him the day he was born that I am his his Guardian Angel here on earth & when I am gone I will still be with him. So my Gage my heart never forget this song & I will forever be there for you. Love to all my family & especially my husband Robert for I wish you could have realized how these words were written for you first, 36yrs. next month my love, my soulmate.

We just laid my wife of 56 years to rest after a long 7 year battle with vascular dementia. We played this song at her funeral services and it was wonderful and the highlight of the service. I was her sole care giver for all that time except for when Hospice came in and took over the last few days. I love this song and as someone has already pointed out this song is so appropriate for those aging and suffering with dementia and Alzheimer's. I use to listen to this song on a many day, late at night after getting the wife to bed. I would sit and cry for the longest time seeing what the wife was going through and knowing what the outcome would be. However, after listening to the song at the funeral, I realized it had another side to it. It was also for those that had already passed on, letting us know that when our time comes they will be there to carry us home to be with them.

Missing my dad tonight. He died of Covid April 15th 2020. Army and Green Beret and our hero. 90 years old. He and my brother were at his side at his retirement home. (demanded to be there for his four days of life) we saw him off and caught it but wouldn't have it any other way. He'd had done it for us.. we survived. But since I had lung issues since birth it's been hard. But my brother and I would never have left his side. Happy birthday to my dad this Oct 31st. He'd had been 91. We love you dad! Your kiddos. ❤️❤️

I just lost my mom to MDS, my mom with Gods miracles overcame a great deal before the MDS. God answered all our prayers during this ordeal. I haven’t been sleeping well and wake up thinking I’m seeing my mom, but I can’t see her face so I poke what looks like a lump and ask if he is my mom. It’s my husband who probably thinks I’m losing it.😂 I laugh because God gave me a great gift. Two nights ago I had another dream, but this time I saw my mom’s face and kissed her cheek. I didn’t get the chance to do that when mom passed. God is sooo Great!!! 😊
That's a comforting song. I just had a conversation with my mom tonight (who is 73). After a battle with the corona virus we thought it had thrown her into alzheimers or dementia. She is very frightened and I was letting her know I will never leave her by the wayside. I will take care of her. This song just drove that home for me.

Powerful! To my beautiful sister and Best Friend- Martha Lee, 43 years killed January 2009. All she wanted was to "Come Home'. get out of a physical abusive marriage. Our last conversation 3 days before she was killed, she cried out with tremendous fear, like I've never heard her. She kept on saying she just wanted to come home. My sister lived in Kansas with her abusive husband, I couldn't help her but my narcissist other sister could have but she ignored our sister's cry for help. 3 days later she's dead. Last November 2020 I drove to Kansas to the house and room she died in, I finally found her beautiful soul and I brought her home. 😢 I just heard this song for the first time. Tears running down, I miss her so much.

My husband had a Stroke and now he cannot walk and needs a lot of care…I am disabled myself, with very severe COPD and Emphysema and our lives are so very difficult. I agree 1,000,000,000,000% with that statement. Other than Carrie Underwood & LeAnn Rimes, Trisha is among my very favorite female vocalists! I just wish that we didn't always have to come to UA-cam to see her videos....if I had one wish, I would wish that CMT would go back to a country music video format and just play nothing but country music videos. I absolutely HATE that CMT completely stopped playing country music videos. I'm having a hard time finding channels (or even a single channel) on my Roku television that plays good country music.....:(

So I have a friend who has cancer its who I referred to in my earlier messages.
The times he was so weak or sad depressed scared ..
Thats what you do for those you love carry them..
But as we go through life we find those that we've in moments of needing to be carried we've loved them so very much..
I find myself now in a position of both thankful & worry for another friend I need to carry 🙏 and I would everyday for the rest of my life ❤ I love them greatly and they mean so much to me!! You carry those you love!! Even when there pride or fears terrify them afraid of showing cracks you know them and know they need to be carried... now its Rustys turn to be carried!

one day , went to home Depot to buy a rope as i was on rock bottom. Was decided to make it my last day . Everything was in place all setup, Spotify was running...thanks god i never paid subscription , this Song started to play .
