MY FIRST PODIUM!!! / GNCC 2024 MOUNTAINEER

I finally did it! This is my third year in the XC1 class at GNCC, and I finally got on the box. The Mountaineer GNCC at the Summit Bechtel Reserve, which is the home for the national boyscout jamboree, was the dustiest race we've had this year. That is the complete other end of the spectrum from what we had at the previous round at Buckwheat after the storm that rolled through before our race. Obviously, a holeshot was needed so visibility would be optimal for two hours. AND I GOT IT!!! My first holeshot since last year, and I lead nearly three laps before getting stuck on a tree. Walker Fowler got around me and went on to becoming the winningest ATV rider in GNCC history at 76. On the last lap, Brycen Neal got around me, and I was able to bring it in for third. Thank you so much to everyone who has stuck behind me and the program all these years. Couldn't do it without you!
