Thanks for the review. Really enjoyed where you showed where the stabilizing arm attached to the bottom of the drill. That was having a hard time finding it and you made it easy. Many thanks
Yeah, anything you can attach them to and has enough torque, most handy dudes will find a way to fit them, I used mine with a off-brand drill sold by aldi here in Australia and it worked well till the blades wore out.
If that thickness is less than 16 ga strap (is the thickest metal I've cut) then yes it should work but you might want a double cut shear if you need both sides of the cut to be FLAT straight edges.
Would this be able to flush cut up against an inside frame? I'm putting metal siding on a building and need to cut out the doors and windows that are already framed. I want to just sheet the whole wall and then cut out the the openings, like we do with a router on wood sheathing. Can it cut flush against one side?
Hello! I recently bought this shear tools and i've noticed that the upper part of the blade (the ne that swivels up & down) it's a little loose (has a little play when it's not used). it's normal or it's something broken or untighten inside? can you please confirm if yours it's the same please? thank man!
@@toolrev have you ever tried it on cement sheets aswel, because the tool you use might actually go good on cement sheets regardless if the blades can cut through steel.
Thickest I've cut is 16GA strap so whatever mm that is is all I can say. I'd get it, try it, return it if it doesn't work and then come back and let us all know.
you can get every part for almost every dewalt tool at their parts website - here the link for this tool -www.toolservicenet.com/dewalt/en//Dewalt/OUTDOOR//p/DCPR320B

I bought one and it works on ryobi drills
nice! you answered my question after searching through other reviews, This can cut 16 gauge coil straps. THxx!!
Cool, I was hoping someone would be able to use that info.
Simple, quick ,nice review. I just picked one up for my occasional use... much better than using hand snips for long cuts.
Great review, lots of info, exactly what I needed to know. Thanks!
Great review. Awesome video examples of the different applications
Awesome review

Clear and quick. Thanks!
You're welcome!
Thank you!
Does this work on corrugated iron?
Haven’t tied it but let us know if you do and how it works.
Thanks great video
Wonder if we can use it on normal drills, like dewalt 12v drill or Milwalkee drill

Ever try this out on thinner titanium sheets by chance? .5mm or 1mm gr5. I'm guessing the .5 would work, but unsure of the 1mm.
I haven't.
What is the attachment in the very begining that you used to make the original hole? What's it called?
It's called a step drill bit. This one's a Milwuakee 3/16" to 7/8" with a 1/2" shank. You can also get them with a 1/4" shank for impact drivers.
Wore my blades out, where do you buy replacements? ... nothing online!
Could you use this above a fuel tank? No sparks? Need to put an access panel in a vw bus.
I haven't seen sparks but who knows.
That’s awesome
Will this cut diamond plate sheet ? .058 I believe. Diamond sheet that you can buy in Home Depot

This accessory is compatible with which drills?
Does it work well with wire mesh?
Haven't tried it but I'd guess yes.

Probably not like routing out windows and door openings but let us know what happens if you try it.

Can this be reliable for cutting copper
never tried it myself
Hi I'm wondering if these can be used with cement sheets as I have all my tools dewalt and don't really want to change or get the makita cement shears
Not sure.
@@toolrev have you ever tried it on cement sheets aswel, because the tool you use might actually go good on cement sheets regardless if the blades can cut through steel.
@@Canipeks I haven't tried it but if you do let us know how it works out.
@@toolrev I haven't got one of these tools, however if I buy one and try it will definitely keep you updated.
Can it cut steel sheets? Maybe 1mm?
