Asked this as a question for the jimothy podcast, but wasnt discussed. What do you think of 2001 vs Solaris, as Solaris, according to Tarkovsky, was made partly in response to 2001?
I love both but I'm one of those annoying Tarkovsky truthers who think he could do no wrong so my heart goes to Solaris. Incredible as 2001 is, especially with its pure cinema-style anti-narrative, I feel Solaris probes even further, with a genuinely alien feel to human connection as a whole. (And what an ending!)
The rotom was choice scarf. He switched out Clefable because it cant do anything to the rotom, and dont want to eat thunderbolts. That is why he sacked Arcanine who was almost dead to stealth rocks anyway. The scarf rotom then locked itself into shadow ball killing the Arcanine and then he could go into the Clef safely again since Clef is immune to shadow ball.
In the end of Game 1, isnt it just better to leaf storm the Milo? You KO it, Steelix comes in, bring in Magi for the sack or boom absorb, then bring in Veni again for the KO on Steelix? I normally watch ADV, so forgive me if I'm missing something!
BKC of course is shorthand for Black Knight Claymore. Which is BKC's #1 request for the next weapon in Dark Souls 4. Which doesn't sound very different from the normal Black Knight Sword. But to each their own I suppose.
