An interesting detail they added post game is that even when you can still drive the Magnum Opus and have Chum with you, wasteland encounters will turn to PTSD guilt trips and the stronghold NPCs will start murmuring about how Max is speaking to himself, suggesting he is still having visions of Chumbucket talking to him, much like all the people he failed and let die. This game relly doesn't hold back on telling the player how much the survivor's guilt Max feels is literally causing him to become feral. This ties perfectly to how Fury Road starts, with him and the Interceptor in terrible shape and Max almost not speaking entirely. Seriously Hollow, you should see Fury Road after playing this game, since you had mentioned that you haven't seen it yet. Max has flashbacks there that only make sense if you've played the game, or read the tie in comics, which also had a similar plot to this. He rescues the woman and little girl from the Buzzards and they get murdered anyway.
I've seen the movie, but after watching this episode it all makes sense now!!!

@@thenerd4756 I think it was Vertigo comics who made the 5 part series that led up to Fury Road. From the biker gangs to Immortan Joe's takeover of the wasteland power triad up until when Max rescues the kid from the Buzzards. Great stuff too. Although it doesn't touch upon the person called Dr. D that Hope mentions. He's rumored to be the villain in the upcoming Furiosa movie.

Incredible game! Bought it on release day back in 2015. Been telling everybody about how good it is since then. Glad to finally see some big UA-camrs play through it and actually enjoy it as much as I have. Thank you Hollow!
Bought it few days ago for 4$ and it is biggest waste of money in my life. Game is boring as fuck, REPETITIVE as fuck, and combat so called combat that all prise, is a fcking one button spam with 0 challenge.

What a story, what an ending, definitely as good as the movie 🔥
I have had this game forever and never played it. Watching your playthrough, I was like "it will be a crime to not play this game" And sure enough I am in love with this game. The only thing that's a little annoying is the jumping, but I love everything else

It’s awesome. Everyone said it was good when it came out. I also only played recently on a regular Xbox One so the graphics aren’t as good, but they are still good graphics. Totally worth it especially how cheap you should be able to pick it up for. You have it obviously, I think I payed 5 bucks.

Everytime I get to that cutscene in the game it always gets fucked up but the rest of the cutscenes are fine do you know what’s going on with that one cutscene man

Finding scrap was addictive you want to clear a place. But then you only might get 15 or 30. Sometimes it was a pain to find everything to clear a spot, but you’re not forced to do it I just felt compelled to.
A cool note: the car at the end that looks pretty sucky? That was the car he has been searching for the whole game, and is the same car from the first film, the car he has had in all the films. The Black on Black, the Interceptor.

This game is awesome. I only picked it up a few months ago too, but everyone said it was good. I played through it 3 times. No 100% but it was great enough for a couple replays. Also I need an Xbox One X, these graphics look so much better on these current gen consoles. They were good to begin with but this is a noticeable difference even on a 1080p TV on UA-cam.

Is it just me or does this game fill like your playing a movie if that makes any sense
this game was originally planned to be a tie in to fury road but plans were changed. But i suggest hollow end up watching it anyways. it's visually spectacular and it might at least 'feel' like a continuation of sorts considering how many design aspects and some locations share with the film hence the original planned tie in.
