I recently was watching the last live concerts of Steve Vai whom I am following for certain reasons. You know what? These variations of just this one guitar and it's presently player were electrifying me ...a little ..more😂 Maybe in a recall, it is simply the message within time and timing. But here it is more visible to get understanding
@@goeri2 You wish what was true, that you could see the cable? I mean if it's a medical thing I can't help with that but if you have working eyes/glasses try pausing around 3:48 when he leans back. You can clearly see the entire cable run from the guitar to the amp. It's a single cable. Nothing else in the path. And that '73 PR doesn't have an effects loop. With a strat you need to turn a PR up to 7+ to get into this kind of breakup. I don't know how hot 1953 P90s are, but they might get there a little sooner.
@@sprainedtongue I was just thinking if the tone could not have been altered after the microphone. Or some other trick. Maybe not. Sounds just too good to be true that it is just a guitar run into an amp. But I am not an expert. Btw.: Being an optician I am confident that my glasses are fine. 😁😉

The people who want a 59 or even just a humbucker standard, always want that, but the P90 Gibsons are the ones that pull people who want fenders or anything else than a Gibson to Gibson
Savvy marketing. If they posted this exact same guitar and the blues lawyer that is gonna buy it playing it they'd go almost immediately out of business. LOL!
I don't think there's a better tone to be juiced out of a guitar than this. Gorgeous.
One of the best tones i ever heard, and one of the best playing i ever heard too. For sure!

I will die on the hill that the Gold top w/ P90s is the best version of a Les Paul.
Yeah, this kid is exceptional.
His performance is the best of all the performances.
Great playing, that guitar sounds amazing.
Love hearing this great guitar through a silverface PR! Wow!
Simply outstanding! The guitar AND Hudson!
All of that sounds amazing.
Tbiccccc boy. Those guitars are heavy and solid. Love them. 👌🏼 P90s are great
The middle position with P90 is stunning ! Ma mamia 🙏🥰
Best electric tone of all time right here
omg..!
i saw him two 3 year ago on instargram it seemd like a good kid at the time..
but now he's a very charming person..!!
so inspiring! Incredible improvisation
Well played son ❤️
I like that he also wore a jacket from 1953 for the video. Nice playing BTW :)
Wow that just blew me away towards the end very talented keep up the good work.
Really really good playing
Amazing, great playing Hudson!!
The Thrill is here to stay.
If I could like this twice I would
The man can play!
Awesome tone and playing too

Amazing sound.
As a person who is the same age as that guitar, all I can say is "Oh my what that little country boy could play"!
Sounds more like Blues than country.

Wish you would post all the gear used in each video... great tone and playing!
You can see in the video that the guitar is plugged into a silverface PR. That's it. Unless you mean the mics used or something

The Strat Guy gets a P90 equipped Gibson. ✌️

p90s kinda do both, thats why they're my favorite pickup.
It’s an easy transition after all p90’s are still only single coils
This is why I love P90s over hb!
P90's into a Princeton = magic
