Think we will all be digging out bridges this year and replacing the existing pipe with larger bore pipe to get some more flow. Bet we will be looking for rain come 1st April.
Not the best of starts to your New Year on the farm. The old saying of that, it never rains, but it pours comes to mind. Surely, the rains will stop, and things will dry up again. Things can only get better from now on. Great video again, and to watch a proficient operator on the digger, letting the water flow again.

Going be a lot more mole plows and bigger pipes put in a lot of farms I am from essex and a digger driver all I done is ditching and pipe work for last 3 months
Yes it’s certainly been a busy year on the ditching front! To be honest I’ve been on the digger for the last 2 months, with just an odd day on a tractor.
I love a bit of ditching and cleaning up and land drain work when u got nice straight clean ditches u know u normally in with a fighting chance with weather over winter but this winter is far from the normal

Water table certainly very high now. Foresee your going to be very busy on that digger this spring and future Smaller digger like yours are going to increase in value and steal ability will increase

Yes, lands at saturation point and beyond now! We have a full time work book for the digger now until spring, and like you said beyond!

Unfortunately it got smashed digging it out, it was an old glazed pipe. 15min 35secs on the video I point out the remains of the old pipe.
