I was driving north on 17 on Oct 3, 89 at night looking for a place to stop. If it wasn't for the Voyager Inn would have gone to Wawa. At 10:15 you skipped it here.
Yes there ae not a lot of places to stay along Hwy17 in northern Ontario and the motel operators know this and price gouge. You need to be strategic and plan your stops ahead of time. I stayed in Wawa for the nigh for $150 for a pretty average place
Awesome video. Have to do that route myself. You have to do route 132 north of Quebec city...like 1100 km coastal as it becomes sea water on the st. Lawrence...so nice you'll jizz your pants!
I ran that road on a regular basis from 1975 to 1990 and in my opinion you missed so much in your video. About all you showed was approximately 150 miles of high speed blacktop; very disappointing.
@@chitrakhatri3221 some of my videos, like the small town driving tour ones are shot in normal speed. I shoot the longer drives in double speed so I can capture more in a shorter video
Love your video. Sharing it on my social Facebook page. Same name.

Beautiful man. How are the wildfires? Do our friends up north need a hand?
I am not sure. I hear tge fires are mostly further up in northwestern ontario and Manitoba. There were no fires when i drove through in June
