More specifically, it is 120km off the south coast of England and 50km off the north-west coast of France. With a population of 63,026, a population density of 995 people per square km, and an area of 25 square miles, Guernsey is the second largest Channel Island.

When I visited there were a lot of road works and recall one of the buses I was on accidentally took a wrong turn and trying to reverse was very difficult for the driver on the narrow road. Always good to see different things in Guernsey and the challenges of driving on the island.

Yea we’ve been looking at housing options as non-UK residents and it’s just mad pricey. So maybe when we win the lottery! Aside from the prices, the whole open market situation is incredibly discouraging - SO difficult as a foreigner to move to Guernsey

Road work can be a nuisance - putting it mildly. House prices? Exactly the same in NZ - astronomical. Saw the sign Spider Crab open @ 8am - boy I'd be there, first in line - miss my spider crab. Thanks for the drive Ross. Jocelyn.

Canada… prices are crazy…..rents very high…..thousands of new condos….investors buy to resale for profit…..drives up rent …….a decent house is 1 million in the cities…..condos 1/2 a million in older buildings…..close to 1 million in downtown cities……
Is it time to try the upper parishes...can't remember if you have done a drive along far from home...torteval as an example...or is it out of the question?
What I don't understand is that Guernsey is a small island but there are so many cars. If I lived on Guernsey, I wouldn't own a car.

House prices in my village where I live and grew up in the south of England have gone through the roof because of Londoners escaping the city 🙄
