DIY Toddler Bed | Easy & Affordable | Bedroom Makeover Part 2
We are continuing the process of this Bedroom makeover for my daughter! In todays video i am sharing with you how i built her a DIY Montessori Toddler Bed (twin sized). It was relatively easy & Affordable as I spent just under $100 for everything, and about 10 total working hours!

This bed frame is built to fit a traditional 35”x 78”twin bed.
Overall (Outer) Dimensions:

Loved the supervisors new bed, she's growing fast.

This is brilliant and just so CUTE! It is obviously the perfect height for her since she climbed right up in there. I love the natural waxed wood and the cozy feel of it. Perfect for bedtime stories and snuggles. And you taught us how to do dowels! Just all of it is perfect!🌸

I'd like to point out having them sitting directly on the floor is not hygienic!
Aren't you afraid of bed bugs, dust mites that's penetrating thru the box to her mattress, sheets etc...just saying 🤷🏾♀️

Ive been thinking of doing the same for my toddler but I'm concerned about the sharp edges of the bed. Is there anything you can recommend to do about them? I want to keep the block look but I have a crazy toddler who loves to jump, so these scare me. thank you for your video,

Great job on drilling the dowels straight free hand. I’ve made several transition beds over the years. I would like to respectfully caution you on the spindle placement. There is a strangulation hazard having them that far apart. I would suggest adding another decorative spindle in between the current ones to get that space down to 4 inches apart or less. Again respectfully, I would also add to the head end to raise its level to above her head while she’s standing on the mattress . Children like to jump and flop back when going to bed. Having the head board that low puts it at a very dangerous position at her neck and the back of her head should she just flip backwards to lay down. I hope I don’t offend. Thank you for sharing your work.

Such a cute bed, for $97 plus the time you put in to make it. You wouldn't be able to buy a bed like the one you made for such a price.
